I really like the art of this one, and it doesn't seem laggy. Looks fun, and not as complicated or punishing as Foundations. Looking forward to seeing more of this game in the future.

I agree! Very curious to see where it goes. As for the demo, yeah! I think they have a building limit in the demo, so you can just delete a building to build a new one as you expand, if you so choose

This game is in fact not only inspired by the early The Settlers games but the spiritual successor. It is a project by the original dev after all :D

around the 10 minutes mark i think you are referring to Settlers 1 and 2. They have this same border expansion type. Pioneers of Pagonia is made by the creator of the Settlers series. So it goes back to the roots of the old series, instead of whay Bluebyte and Ubisoft made of it.

Fun to see this. Knowing that Volker Wertich the original creator of "The Settlers" made this after some differences with Ubisoft in the creative vision. This turned out to be Settlers Alliances which flopped super hard. Pioneers is leaning a lot towards "Settlers 2". The game is small in scope and the roadmap focuses on a PvE experience against wilderness so far. Also you will see every step of every product. This game is focused on product chains. Food is for mines, explorers and expanding the amount of people. Not needed to sustain operations. Like Settlers1&2 xD But Volker in various talks seemed eager to do more if this endeavor proofs to be fruitful and financially viable. I will certainly get the game to support this vision to the fullest. All translations are also community driven because they had so much support. After all it is a German Studio. "Envision Entertainment". To me this is like a age old dream and I cannot describe how happy this makes me. And I bet my butt you will notice how much heart goes into this game. Settlers and by extension Volker Wertich are a known GEM in German speaking realms of gaming. Sadly Ubisoft kind of ruined the recipe and made multiple different type of Settlers games. So even the Settlers community in itself is torn apart by vastly different games. That said there is a LOT of history why this game exists. And it is also to proof Ubisoft wrong that the original vision is great. Volker did also mention Envision and Ubisoft did break up peacefully. Sorry for my long comment. Have a nice day c:

I Purchased the game Fabledom a build game and only played it 8.1 hours and did not like a lot of the gameplay it still being worked on but just not that fun.

I find it boring after a while too many people to start. and nothing new, if it is £15 to £20 maybe any more it's a no-no.

The Only RTS build game i have ever played that offered cool building and game play with combat that work so very well was Black and White and most of these game that only offer a build game only are super boring to me and even if they just offered wild animals to kill and wall to protect your kingdom would make it a lot better but if it is a build only weather condition game i don't want it.

Another thing nowhere does is say it has combat so you read into it more than it is, or you were told it did. WHATEVER not buy just another build game that's for sure.
