After multiple videos of people constructing, designing, and 3D printing their own PIP-Boy 3000s, you'd think Bethesda would just take the hint and manufacture and distribute actual ones. As long as it'd be available to the normal market and not be a thousand bucks, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

You should make an update vid to see some more progress. (Also, on the business side of things, this could legit be a thing. If you figure out a way to iron out all the kinks you could make more and sell em. And yeah, I know that you can buy a "Pip Boy" but the ones for sale are normally cheap and I guess the word I'm looking for is unsatisfying, meanwhile, yours actually looks pretty genuine. Trust me, Fallout fans would go crazy for this. Heck, I'd buy one myself. The only issue I think some people would have is the wires and that pack thing. Basically: The closer it is to an ACTUAL Pip Boy? The better). But nice work on this thing in general! I would never be able to do this stuff, so keep it up!

Dude your project is the best one I've seen so far and it's been 5 years now, you got talent in making robco techs :) we're doing a live action rpg set in the fallout universe and the plan is to make cost effective but working pip boy for multiple people, therefore adding interactive menus such as exp counter, inventories, uploadable quests and a proper map, and yours is just amazing! I was looking to know more about this model, did you update it? Do you think my suggestions are plausible to input in your program? Did you manage to add butttons? And most importantly, where did you get that stupid beautiful magniying glass?!?

I'm using the same code, but I can't get the World Map icons to populate. I sent a note to Neil on bitbucket, but haven't heard back yet. I've spent half a day staring at the code, but I'm coming up with nothing. Did you alter the World Map code in anyway to get the icons to populate? Anyways - great build! I just got all the FO3 music with Three Dog's commentary running on start up - now if I could only get the rest of the pages populated with more gameplay images :)
