Pipe Wrench Forged Into A Beautiful Knife

I back after taking a short break away from KZbin and I ready to get back to making videos. My goal for 2019 is to become a full time KZbinr and to do that I know I need to make and sell more knives. A lot of you have been interested in buying a pipe wrench knife so today that is what we are going to make. This custom knife is forged from a 14 inch RIDGID pipe wrench hook jaw and I will be posting it for sale on my Etsy store.

I've been wondering why I couldn't find any more uploads! I'm so glad you're planning on going Full Time, it would make life a lot easier and more interesting! Of all the Forgers I've watched on KZbin, You are the one with the most ingrained Talent. I'm Old, and My Great GrandFather was a Blacksmith and for all the guys out there with much more expensive equipment you achieve better results than they do, even though they have the tools for Mass production in their shop! You definitely have the skill to be a blacksmith if you ever wanted to go that direction! Truly, I am speaking from the heart, My Heritage means a great deal to me and so do their chosen professions, and YOU sir, have a great deal of talent, to be able to consistently achieve desirable results over and over, and you achieve them regardless of your lack of expensive equipment. I for one am happy to watch you do your work on KZbin. Now, that isn't even touching on your finishing skills as well. Your projects are in high demand, and you have an excellent eye for lines and what works with a piece, and what doesn't work. More power to you my friend and I will more than likely be buying one of your knives as soon as I save up for one. Cheers!!!

Yes but you need to keep it oiled after your done using it. Otherwise it will rust because it's a carbon steel

Castsmith the sparks show it to be high carbon, as well as the fact that it hardened. It was shown well in a recent Alec steel video, but high carbon has lots of bright flaring sparks when grinding, while low carbon has small orange flecks
