Pipeline Branch Test. Helping A Good Buddy.

The Ole iron Pipeline welding test. Branch tests to most look very intimidating and dont get me wrong the first few are beyond scary. You dont know what your doing you dont know how to fix certain things that might be happening such as under cut, where to bevel, how far to bevel. so on this Branch test we have one of my good buddies Aaron who is laying out his first and I waas happy he asked if we could help him out. Love your videos man! Any advice or suggestions on getting into the industry? 9+ years doing welding and fab. Mostly custom truck bodies and frame work. Minimal pipe exp. I am looking to get into the industry possibly as a helper to begin with to gain knowledge and experience first. Thanks in advance for any and all advice, I know you stay super busy. D Booth793 talk to any and every rig welder you see at gas stations restraints ect. Get their number. Be hungry! Call oil and gas companies. Show up at the yard at 530 am and ask for a job until you get one. HUSTLE!

0:06 Is this where you're cutting the piece that you're going to attach later to make the tee? How did you know how to mark the curve to cut along, so that it would fit so well when put on top of the pipe?

You move the pipe to much when your welding. That's cheating. You can't do that on a test.
