There is nothing like a military band, especially if it includes pipes, to get the blood stirring. Love it!!!!!

I was young, my dad was a Drum Major in an Anzac parade in Sydney Australia. Two things he did that day, one was break protocol spotted me in the crowd and winked, second was th throw his staff into the air and then catch it in the march, never missed a beat RIP mate. Try that young fellows lol.

"Rolls, 1.2." Never heard it said that way. I'm always told "Rolls, By the right, quick march!" or "Rolls, Quick March".

Rolls, 1, 2 is correct when stood still.

we do, "After the rolls, quick march" or just, the normal 1 2 is confusing unless its like a strathspay or jig or something Paddie's epic journey

I don't know which clan the blue kilted pipers but they were absolutely fantastic but why did that one on left turn to face backwards near the end love the pipes brass is ok but when you think of Scotland you think pipes haggis kilts

4 scots have the best looking and sounding band of all the highland regiments. The thing about Military drum majors is that they actually came up through the drum corps whereas, for most of the civilian drum majors , it's just the back door into the band.
