Also as Jailor you will get stuff like town powers claiming TP to you when there are obviously no TP in game. I even have seen a hidden Mayor fake tracker a Jailor and got them lynched. I don't know why but it seems like about a quarter of all people as town play as if they are TT.

I think it was worse than that, I think the shroud actually tried. Otherwise there would be no reason to try and fake the whole "Oh I was doing so badly because I was AFK! LOL!" to try and divert any responsibility for how bad they were playing.

But the thing is (and take this with a grain of salt since I'm a non-player), it seems like people are more inclined to wanting NKs to win over town/coven/apocalypse due to how infrequent they actually do it. When it comes to neutrals, NKs rarely get a victory. NE's have wincons that dont need them to be the last ones standing as well as a short animation for when they fulfill that condition (except jester). On the other hand, NAs are much more frequent in appearance, turn the tide of the game, and all share a winscreen. In the end, usually NKs get killed before they could ever win, such as the serial killer in the recent conjurer game. They're hunted down so badly only arsonists can sort of get away with it, and then again they eventually get found out. So people will prefer NK wins because that means they were able sneak under the radar and catch the other factions by suprise. Also, cool animation that isn't usually seen!!

Jailor supercedes Pirate. Jailing is basically the person being lock downed. Pirating is open seas duel, anybody could join in. Is the way interpret it.
