Just watched that game, and was cringing at the end. I genuinely do not know what that Sheriff was thinking. In a game where a Vigi claim being controlled and RB'd N1 and nobody else claiming controlled D2, how in God's name would any townie come to the conclusion that it's the Vigi and Escort claims that are lying, and not the Ret and Trapper claims? The solution just seemed so obvious. I mean, I know I asked in a previous video to see more Pipe ToS losses, but this one was just painful to watch at the end. EDIT: Something else I just realized: Pipe was literally the ONLY person alive on D5 that claimed TK. And there were no dead TKs in the graveyard. How in God's name could Pipe have possibly been Town Traitor in that scenario?

@@weremickey It is possible, but the only way in that particular instance that it could have made any sense is if the CL and Vigi made a plan for the CL to not control anyone N1 and just hope the Vigi would get roleblocked somehow.

Because he could've been TT. The game counts TT as a "normal" townie until they are revealed (via death) as TT. So you can literally have a game where all evils are dead, but TT still exists because TT is considered a "town" and not evil, hence TT. Once all evils die and its just town, everyone is confirmed town; Now it's time to find the TT so town wins.

I personally wouldn't go that far. It's technically only a throw, or at the very least it can only be reported as a throw, if someone deliberately pissed the game away. I don't think 8 threw, I think he was just being an idiot.

I'm genuinely upset at this. 8 threw that so hard. If they payed attention they would have realized that n1 you were discovered by coven and that if you weren't rbd then they get 2 free town kills. And it's not like you didn't claim that either. It's just a game but when you don't pay attention to thses kinds of things in a hidden role game it's often that you end up giving up a win.

If town had put 2 and 2 together they could've caught out both 10 and 12 for consistently trying to get the esc lynched. Then again that would've never happened since town for some unknown reason believed that you were tt who was controlled night 1...

I'm trying to think up a possible reason as to why 8 felt that way. The only somewhat logical reasoning I can come to is that, because he thought Pipe was TT & 9 was CL, he must have thought a 2000 IQ play happened N1 where the CL didn't control anyone. It doesn't make any sense if you look at it any other way, and it only barely makes sense if you look at it THAT way.

@@KingCanada Yeah, that's the ONLY way I see that playing out but because I never got a full will from ret I would have not voted and either see if the vigi would shoot or if the ret would use crus because then there was no way to confirm then except for the fact that vigi was confirmed tk.

@@ratlord2954 Witch ignores all of Vig's text and just forces a Basic Attack with no other rules. Doesn't burn bullets, doesn't cause vig to die of guilt the next night, and can kill N1.

It's very hard to give general advice 'cause every scenario is different. I'd say try to infect people who will likely be visited to spread the plague asap. Claim something like crusader/lookout/sheriff/tracker/invest. If you get attacked, claim vigilante/spy and try to get someone lynched to pass off as exe. Avoid being lynched by piling on others when they are questioned or voted.

Claim Investigator and random say Framer Vampire Jester or Hex Master.If they push you play Jester.If they push your target and they are town play like Executioner.If your target evil they will think you are Jester or They will think Hex Master in game . So they will forget you when you even turn Pestilence and they will try to find Pestilence at all and enjoy your win

Number 8 threw the game. When 10 and 12 spammed chat and said 9 is guilty that was it, there was the confirmed evils, if 8 had a brain town would have won. The spamming was a last ditch effort. For some reason that works a lot, you did it yourself in another video and sheeped the towns.

Idea for new role: Canibal. I have 2 versions of this. Version 1. Canibal would have a basic attack and defence. He can choose to attack someone each night. Anyone he kills will not appear during the morning death thing, nor would it appear in the graveyard. However, the player and targeting option during the day would dissappear for the player. Also, while med can talk to the dead player, retri and necro can't use the body. Version 2: A mafioso janitor mix. The town would know a player died, but they can't find a will or role

For version 1, there would be no indication of anyone dying to a cannibal, however, the person would be considered dead so they could not talk in alive chat but they can talk in dead chat. Their character and targeting option would not appear during the day or night

You know, not being funny, but Pipe has done things like this on the reverse end. Controlled Town as either Mafia or Coven and got confirmed Townies lynched and clutched the win. But i agree, this was so cringe to watch. In hindsight, number 9 should not have outted themselves as Escort as that made them the target of Coven. That being said, given how town were being controlled by the CL (hahaha) that might have got them lynched sooner. Still, love games like this. I need to give this game another try. It is so fun to watch, but I found it so infuriating to play.

Because Coven Leader found Vigilante N1, so if Escort doesn't keep roleblocking Vigilante, then the Coven Leader can control the Vigilante to kill a townie. Then since the Vigilante killed a townie, he'd die from guilt the next night, making it two townies down from one move.
