How to specify the required mesh for a specific process

It depends on precess requirement and machine vendor's requirement.

I have a conical strainer for condensate process with 4"(i can share with you the data sheet and vendor drawing). Now i need new one with 2" for same process just (flow rate it is 1/2 the existing one) could you please advise how i can size the length and required mesh?

@@saidiramzi2470 required mesh depends on process requirement and filtration requirement of downstream eqpt. Please calculate area of conical perforated sheet. Available open area shall be about 25% of this area. This available open area should be minimum 2 times of pipe cross sectional area. In this way you can select conical strainer dimensions.
