Loving the use of my favourite ship! Now that you can engineer power distributors for max capacity, using four gimballed pulse lasers is no longer a bad idea! The less you have to worry about stuff like ammo the better. With a purely laser build you can pirate longer, especially if you have materials to make limpets and a fuel scoop to refuel you can potentially stay out there for hours until your cargo is full of diamonds!

This is a great video, but is anyone else encountering a bug where every single NPC with a refinery cheats on FSD cooldowns? Incredibly annoying. They're jumping in less than 20 seconds after interdiction.

Alexander Wenner it happens to me all the time. Cargo scanning is pointless, if they are miners they will have diamonds just shopt them to stop the fsd than take out power

I have made numerous reports on this to Fdev support my latest one i got the first hopefull response that they'd look into the npc behaviour to suit pirating more, the problem itself is actually not a bug its a simple mistake they gave the npc the rule that if they get interdicted they get the cooldown we would have when we submit to interdiction that's the only problem. But they should be working on it now

By Corvette you mean Cutter, right? Because Cutter has far more cargo space, much faster boost speed, maybe lower firepower, but still more than enough.

As an old, lazy, pirate I would rather avoid math, but since you insist, here it is: 200-ish diamonds is worth anywhere from 9.5 to 12 mil credits depending on black market state. In this case it was around 10 if I can recall correctly.

They can take some damage, you just need to be gentle.

One thing I don't get... why do you find miners with diamonds in AGRICULTURAL systems. It would seem like other system types like extraction or refinery or others would make more sense. is there a REASON they tend to be in AG systems?

Am I doing something wrong? When I get a NPC to 0% Power Plant, they still fly around as if I hadn't. It's not that they even repair, just nothing happens when they reach 0. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I can't disable ships.

Hold fire, until you have clean shoots on a power plant from above or below the target. Also, depending on a weapon, you need to stay relatively close to the ship, approx less than 500 m. More examples follows: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJ-UhIipj5t5kJI

It is not all about money. Feeling that you can do whatever crosses your mind is what pirate is all about. Metta changes as time goes by. That is a good thing, makes you adapt, evolve... For the money, just pirate more!

I got bored from ED, long ago and i am pirate in every game i play. But piracy have no sense if there is no chance of some high value loot, even 0.1% chance would be enough to keep you interested for long time. Should add some officer modules, or super expensive cargo. game is good, but have potential to be so much better, and make her so much more interesting. I don't play it for a year, PVP was pretty much meaningless, piracy also, missions boring... They need someone who know how to make game interesting.

elite dangerous seems like the kind of game where you play for a few months, then put it away for the rest of the year until more content is added. I stick to steam sales these days and feel much less buyer's remorse than before. I got this game and horizons for ~$30
