They are a schooling fish so I'd probably say that 4 would be the minimum unless you were to keep one on its own and there're isn't really a maximum group size just as long as its suitable for the size of tank. 😁👍

i just bought 4 and i threw them in with my feeder goldfish that didn't get ate from my other fish. and they have mystery snails in with them so if they go they go lol i been feeding them bloodworms also would love if you could point me to some more info on these guys?

I recently obtained baby ones. I feel like they are not eating enough. They have guppy fry as mates(or lunch) I'm feeding pieces of meal worm and high protein flake food. Any tips in regards to feeding them?

Mine loved the cubes of frozen beef heart and also smelt fish and prawns 👍

@slayo 66 my experience was not good at all. I lost all of them. I felt super bad bc I thought I had researched enough. I wonder if it was my hard well water that they didn't acclimate to, or perhaps the fact that I had the tank in my living room. For now,no more exotic fish for me. I hate feeling helpless and having them die. It's not fair to them 😭
