Both korfker test blow the Mach One away The Luna, which I have myself definitely made the best sound and tone on your violin!! Very powerful!

Shoulder rests are so personal, that if it works for a player, it doesn’t matter if a particular model is popular or not. That said, I love the Luna! Great for playing with freedom as if it wasn't there at all, supremely comfortable and easy to adjust, and a lovely and resonant "sound" (under the ear, it is very noticeable even if an audience may not appreciate the difference.) It makes a difference *for me*, and everything seems more effortless. Truly excellent product, and the price is justified given R&D and place of provenance.

The Luna has a darker, richer sound than the original to my ear. Your fiddle is already dark and rich, sounding the original wood design seemed to have a bit more clarity to the sound.

No way a shoulder rest would make any kind of audible difference that would translate through a microphone. No offense but I think in a double blind test no one could tell any audible difference between shoulder rest. They’ve already done some double blind test with strads, and experts couldn’t pick them out.

Thank-you! (The other day I ordered a new Korfker). IMO, Both Korfkers sounded MUCH better (fuller, pleasing) than the Mach One, and the new Korfker does sound a bit better than the older Korfker. I hope mine will fit as well as it fit for you, and I hope it will improve my sound as well. Thank-you again for your video! 🙂🎻
