Pirate 101... The Sad Truth Again...

Hawkules in the discord server mentions that the worlds in Pirate101 are more expensive in Wizard101. Kinda understandable, since they have to make the skyways and more stuff and P101 is less popular than W101. Still, it's sad though that there may not be Polaris for another year or so : I always wanted to see Polaris in this game or maybe Monquista part 2 or even Albion skyway. 😮‍💨

this game was so fun for me as a kid. i'd play with my mom and brother and then we maxed our pirates and just... stopped. i wish they updated the game so that couldve gone on a bit longer

Pirate/Wiz should be a shared membership. I will never play Pirate bc $20 a month for both games seems gross ontop of every other expense.

I’ve been saying the same thing since 2013. They went from 3 million players to 3 thousand all because 99 percent of people are not going to pay hundreds of dollars to buy the game till the end.

The problem is this They need a level cap increase , more companion epic options and powers, possibly companion gear or allow us to equip gear on companions fishing and monstrology

If they just took a good 2 years to flesh out another 30 levels through 2-3 worlds . I feel like it might be enough to revive , lvl 100 cap and add like 3 main dungeons sort of like how Aquila is in wiz, allow players to mid max if there into that, or if your casual you can obviously continue without having to farm those dungeons, lvl 30-70-90 seems adequate or maybe 20-50-70-90 . Would add a nice revamp and could fit them in existing skyways tbh. Don’t even have to flesh a new world for them. That would add replay ability for the people who like the grind. But there focusing there efforts in the wrong areas.

still watching the full video while i'm typing this but i completely agree that pirate needs a large scale update for returning players and hopefully a good amount of new users to find interest in the game. once you complete the story and hit level 70 all that's left is to grind the same 4-5 dungeons for the best possible gear. of course you can replay the game and max out all 5 classes, try new builds and help other players. it just gets extremely repetitive very quickly since it's the same content just recycled over with a different combat style on every class. not to mention almost every player in the game i've ever met has atleast a part-time job or college which makes it difficult to invest time into a game like this

Aye! I love Pirate101 and I still play I am a grinder but I can understand your point of view :> It does suck the level cap hasn't been increased and it is a turn off for some players that hit max and are like okay what now then? its not just you some people I know feel the same way

i agree with the fact about grinding with this game since it doesn’t have a level cap. but me and other players love this game so much we max all 6 character slots. But with the gear farming ESPECIALLY with dutchman the drop rates are so low that there’s barely a reason to do it. I’ve literally done over 100 runs of it and got all the bad hats it’s so discouraging. But i do have to give credit to the developers they are trying really hard to put out updates, but yeah only hardcore lovers of this game max every character. Even just pushing the paywall back to how it was after the presidio would be so helpful. But i do 100% ageee with your points in this video, good job on it :)

Man Wiz is just so much better like it was impossible to replicate the same amount of success. Pir101 is great but it will just never be as popular as Wiz101 even if they did update it a lot with new worlds and similar stuff. I think the main reason is because Pirate101 was released 4 years after Wiz101 and people already got used to Wiz101 and they didn't feel like switching to Pirate after investing their time into Wiz. Pirate101 is great but it was bound to not do great

Dual schooling feels dead at low levels, with how overly min maxing it gets when you are expected to have a perfect pet, get Zeus gear, then waterworks, and later darkmoor before getting to max level. Yes, you don't HAVE TO to dual school, but you are not FORCED to be full primary school with min max gear and sky iron hasta through the leveling experience, I felt the same with pirate101 with companions are also forced into meta strat, as well pirate origin being krok only unless buccaneer.

I like to rant sometimes, but it's not exactly healthy. There really just needs to be more positivity in this world and yeah, some games don't always have replay-ability. it sucks a lot, unless you get to watch someone play it for the first time. Like I remember watching my friend play Bendy for the first time and it almost felt like it was my first all over again. also, dont feel bad, i dont get that many views on my Comic Critic episodes either. i dont even think theyre close to 200 views

I feel like alot of people in this game and other games always want more, it's understandable as people love the franchise but sometimes you just have a good game, and it reached a lovely conclusion with the fight with Kane. As for the new updates honestly I figured the only way they can continue is maybe dealing with the aftermath of the Armada perhaps a revolution by them, maybe even making their own place. But eh it's up to pirate101 and it's dev team what happens.

I agree with this. Sinbad part 3 and the recent "updates" still feels like side content to me and it should've been added after more worlds were supposed to be in the game like polaris, grizzlehiem, krokotopia. it's really unfortunate that we will only get one more world at most because of how long it took them to make this content. they really should not bee raising the difficulty for the new contents in my opinion because we're stuck in lvl 70...to who knows when

If they balance it out between Wiz and Pirate it would work they just drop a new world in Wiz take a 2 year brake and work on Pirate that way in those two years away from Wiz players have more time to farm for gear more time to level other wizards up Wiz in it's 4 arc now if they took a 2 year break to work on pirate no one would be mad now Pirate should be on it's second or third arc by now.

random note but they still haven't made pirate101 compatible to work with the newest mac computers and updates. They game lags so badly on the newest macbooks laptops and computers using an M1 chip and the newest mac update doesn't even let the game load up at all now and just closes the game launcher. So if you update your mac to the latest version they put out, you are pretty much locked out of playing the game with them not putting on any update on the latest mac's situation for years now.

The paywall is too soon. You don't even know a majority of the systems. I can't get anyone to commit to the game - no matter what I tell them because they can't experience it first.
