Pirate101: Unreleased Promotions

So Monkey King was actually supposed to get another promotion!! His story feels the most unfinished out of the companions we meet over the course of the story, like, he's still just serving us because we have him under a mind-control helmet and it feels weird as hell. Like I get he's this powerful celestial entity but a small quest where he decides to stick with our crew because he has grown to like us or something would have been good. Even a quest where he ditches us and we have to convince him to come back.

It would be nice if nurse Quinn also got a promotion where she upgrades her name from nurse Quinn to Dr. Quinn and she also get more healing abilities so she would play more as a healer companion than a fighter companion

I would’ve thought that Hawkules would have a lion fur coat like how the actual Hercules wears the nemean lion as like a cloak along with wearing his head as like a helmet but I guess the belt part of his outfit is the closest resemblance we can get

If the Hawkules got he's promos then my opinion on would have changed I would have used him more often he would have had vengeance 3 blade 2 and relen 2 and I think tide 2 image the possibilities of the immortal hero.

Thanks for this video, it's a great insight into the developers' plans for after VA2. Mind-boggling why at least some of these were never added. I suppose for the main companions they would have to get the actors back, but other than that there's really no reason why they shouldn't be in the game. Hopefully they get added in this next update.

Some of them like hawkules, catbeard and gracie can't get any promotions. Catbeard and gracie promote at level 70 for some gold. Hawkules you get him already like level 66 - 68 so i don't know why he would be getting so many in a few levels

Hopefully they add useful powers/epics to each of these companions if they ever implement the promotions. The samoorai musketeers having megablast, for example, would be a nice touch, and monkey king needs relentless in order to match his character.

Some of these companions I wonder why they haven't made it to the main game like those Cool Ranch companions. I can't imagine one additional epic talent point to the Cool Ranch companions would be enough to let them hang with VA2+ level enemies.

I really hope Kings gives Pirate the Wizard overhaul. So many interesting characters and a better, more interesting fighting system (IMO) in pirate that needs to be given a rework. Wishful thinking of mines would to be add a 5th companion to fights to really make it feel like a real crew. One day 😩
