I feel like you answer my prayers 🙏🏻 I have a pirate themed survival world on Bedrock using a rafts add on and was talking to my friends about wishing something like this was available and then BOOM next day it hits marketplace. No one important is probably going to see this but I downloaded the add-on and I figured out that you can intact repair the ship by interacting with it with wooden planks

There's a few changes that I would make like cannons using gunpowder instead of coal, being able to use the boats for storage would be nice, and maybe adding in a galleon if it's possible and not too difficult to make a boat that large. I don't know if you can walk on the boat itself since it seems like it's an entity, but being able to actually walk on the boat would be another thing I'd love to see added if it isn't already, along with being able to sail with friends in the same boat, and lastly being able to sail/make the skeleton/ghost ship for yourself would be awesome. It's a great add-on overall though, thanks for reviewing it!

i have the addon myself, and i can say that its an entity and u just pass through it. so boats are mostly a 1 player usage

Like already mentioned, it's an entity that can't be walked on, but I believe there is an option for a passenger to board (like a camel) and you can also hold a regular chest in your hand and interact with the boat to give it storage (accessed the same way you would access the saddle bags on a mule, I'm on Xbox so it's Y)

Warning to everybody: the skeletons never stop spawning on beaches. They spawn with individual cannons they can walk around with. The skeletons can see further than any other mob and they will fire flaming cannonballs at you. All of your trees will be burning constantly. They fire from so far away you wont even notice anything other than the forest fires

I haven't had this issue, they spawned near my self built town and I cleared them and expanded over the era and no issues

I genuinely fought for my life against all the skeleton types and a cannon on the beach WITH A GHOST SHIP IN THE WATER. I was full iron

It would be perfect if there was a way to set to deactivate the enemies ships and if we could take over their ship when we fight them and win and if there were a bigger embarcation. But this seems a quite nice add-on noneteless. If thar beautiful chest were actually usable as a chest would be pretty cool too and a nice touch.

The skeletons spawn on my beaches and fire flaming cannon balls into my town from so far away i can barely see them. The flaming cannonballs burn down all the trees, theres nothing u can do.

I want to buy this one... But, I am teetering by one nitpick… Are those ghost ships spawning during day? Seems inconsistent considering the skeletons spawn at night… I think they should make an non-ethereal enemy illager ship that spawns during day and make ghost ship spawns at night (and maybe give them an eerie glow if they haven't already... Couldn't tell since you reviewed the add-on only during day). It would definitely make the add-on match the atmosphere of the times.

My only thing is that what I'm looking for with a pirate add on is that I don't ever wanna feel like I need to leave the ship. Maybe its asking for too much but- I want an add on where it upgrades or at least I can put crafting tables, furnaces, etc. It wouldn't have to be much, just enough that I could realistically live on the ship

That exists on java, and for multiple ship/dynamic building mods, due to the mods just making blocks ships, or adding ships that are functional as you put modules to them, Forge/neoforge mods expecially are insane for that, They do what you typed, and plus more, I am watching many of the bedrock add ons and many of them are.... lets see not keeping thenselves worthy 😂 and I dont know the reason, nor do I care anymore Mods that I recommend for ship building or just ship, depending on how vanilla feel you want Aleki's nifty ships : a nice building mechanics and good features on ships with chests and sails (mod is kinda new and its what the vanilla game should have had) Small ships : this one adds vanilla style bigger boats with sails and cannons with storage (most vanilla feel) Valkrien skies/Eureka : This is what you are looking for, these ones basicly turns your builds into movable objects with everything functioning, with least vanilla feel, but you build big f@ck off ships and on fabric, with waves from physics mod, you f@cking sail and its immersive as hell, sadly this one will never be on bedrock as its too intrusive for bedrock.

This add on is mostly for new items and blocks, the ship is more like a recusotmed boat designed that shoots cannons 😭 it’s so bad

Agreed. It'd make more sense, and encourage players to hunt for gunpowder, as it has limited uses.

Normal people buying PC and Memory Cards, to play same things with more variable realisation and performance. I’m not telling that purchasable mods are bad, but mobile devices still don’t have enough memory to download mods in big quantities, and PC owners don’t play bedrock, I think it would be better to monetise mods like Alex’s Caves due big and well-made amount of content, but not less.
