Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

To make it harder for a clear winner, you should make each round 5 points for the winner, but for the loser it is diminishing returns where you repeat the round until they win or their score reaches 0 as they get a -1 for every round they lose.

I would love to see another similar episodes but with more power cores so that you can have extra/substitute steering and motors in case the primary steering or motor gets hit. Today's battle was lacking some bits, because once your steering or motor got hit then it was sort of all over. Or maybe if you protected your steering and motor so that they are not the first things to break.

I'd still like to see a hovercraft regatta (because making functional hydrofoils is probably too hard) where you get to choose how many power cores you use, but you get a penalty for using more. Either you have to make your boat bigger or you get some sort of time penalty. If you go with something like the later, then you could also make it a blind bid, where the penalty is based on the relative number of power cores you have, compared to the other players, rather than the absolute number and you don't tell each other how many you're using until everyone is done building.

Would be an interesting idea if u could do a race around the outside of the map, starting at the volcano port and then going 'round the outside of every island (anticlockwise would make the most sense so the biggest waves in that sunken peaks part are the last stop on the way). Even more so if the vehicles used have to be hovercrafts :D

Since Scrapman wins this stuff so often: either 2 or 3 against one, with the 3 having less power cores per person but more in total. the 1 having say 20, the 3 or 2 having 25 or something split between them.

You really need to to a sail boat race on the high seas. Only 1 engine allowed the rest of the power must come from sails. Maybe an extra power core or 2 for auto stabilization? I don’t play trail makers so I don’t know how possible this would be but I think it would make for a fun video.

An idea came to me Why don't we have a spucket launcher in Scrap Mechanic Costs 20pineapple and 20broccoli Uses 1 spucket per shot and can kill a farmbot in 3 shots To craft a spucket you need the soon to be added chilli/pepper some glow and a spnade To craft a spnade you need some glow and 5 spuds per spnade Spnades can be thrown but not far..they deal the same damage as a spucket The spucket launcher gives the range advantage so the spuckets are really worth it to craft

You lot jumping off the spacecraft gave me an idea. Airdropping vehicles with detachable sails from some sort of aircraft. This could well be a combination of some amphibious plane that drops an offroad capable car or smth.. could be a fun challenge for mpm. I for one am giving this a try now. gliding challenge who ever can glide from above the vortex to one of the artifact dropoff points earns points depending on distance and color of zone. blue equals 1 point green =2 yellow =3 red =4 special zones are mushroom and sunken peaks each = X2 next run, you both get 5 attempts taking turns so 10 attempts total, no engines or thrusters and you can't use the powered fins.

You should have put movable fins at the bottom of the keel that counteracted the tilt when you turn... and maybe a small trim tab to adjust your height. I actually wonder if you could put some of the altitude meters and gyros and such to make a hydrofoil in the game. It does could drag a lot so it could be pretty fast.

Fun fact, a few ships have cannons on the front and the back of the ships although they are fewer.
