Davy Jones Song is actually a perfect portrayal of his emotional journey. Unfulfilled but upright and honest love, the sadness, then the desperation, the opening abyss of despair, until it turns into something aggressive, then cruel; and in progress of the song even culminating in its cruelty, that you wouldnt expect; but this pain.. is always present. An this hurt feeling is the theme that survives until the end and it is the last emotion, the last memory that he feels when he dies. And only that feeling. His love for Her is stronger than his desolation. This is masterfully composed and played.

Davy Jones.... I swear it gave me goosebumps, it's one of the most impressive soundtracks I've ever heard in my life. "Davy Jones theme music" is not something we generally see in orchestras. But here they developed a very wonderful and original idea and succeeded. I can listen to this song all my life without getting tired of it

Nice arrangement but at the start it keeps veering off into a little bit of Gladiator, with occasional notes of the Skyrim: Dragonborn theme. The end is reminiscent of the El Indio music box motif from Enrico Morricone’s Fist Full of Dollars. But I guess when there a finite amount of musical notes there’s bound to be some repetition.

Hear my voice sing with the tide My love will never die Over waves and deep in the blue I will give up my heart for you Ten long years I wait to go by My love will never die Come, my love, be one with the sea Rule with me for eternity Drown all dreams so mercilessly And leave their souls to me Play the song you sang long ago And wherever the storm may blow You will find the key to my heart We'll never be apart Wild and strong, you can't be contained Never bound nor ever chained Wounds you caused will never mend And you will never end Cruel and cold like winds on the sea Will you ever return to me?
