!!!!!!! I played this with my orchestra last year and it was AMAZINGLY FUN! For the concert, we had a huge projector screen set up behind us and Pirates of the Caribbean was playing on it!

Love the movie and the music. I played this back in 8th grade and that was a lot of fun. What made it better was it was my idea to do this one for the spring concert '08. One or two people thought I was crazy but in the end they had fun with it as well. Pirates of the Carribbean is awesome!!

Oh this brings me back, I was in middle school when the first movie came out. It was the last performance the last year I played percussion in the band. I was lucky enough to be on the gong : ) Had an awsome band teacher told me and the other gong boy: "I want people across the street from the school to hear that thing" One day we broke the gong off its mount it was vibrating so badly. Poor bastard trumpets sitting at ear level with it hated us.

BEST EVER! I play euphonium in my summer band, and we are playing this song. (A euphonium is like a mini tuba with a higher octive) I play the melody at the part where Jack steps onto the pier off of his sinking ship. I LOVE THIS SONG!

heh i used to play trumpet - 3rd trumpeteer, it was great about i'd say30 mems inn the whole band thingy, and this is one of the songs i played and it sounded great. its fun trying to remember how the fingering went again.
