My school's string orchestra is going to play this in a concert. I play violin 2 though. We play the low brass part (in the video) as the score we have is arranged for string orchestra. Sometimes none of the cellos turn up so it's hard to practice without a solid bass to drive us on the fast parts. We still get some cool bits though.

In honor of the Pirates of the Caribbean Movies, me and my friends are going to run around Home Depot (or Lowes or whatever), get some yard sticks (like 65 cents a piece) and play this song while fighting each other with yard sticks dressed as Will Turner, Jack Sparrow, and a third I have not yet decided on. I ask you guys to do this to because it's really fun, stupid, affordable, and it's a great memory to have with friends! And someone tell me who the third character should be. Thanks! :D

USA's intervention was vital for the victory of the allied forces, since it managed to break down the final and really dangerous and leathal offensive of Germany. It is known as the Ludendorff 's offensive and was so effective in crushing allied forces who were on the brink of total exaustion, that only USA financial and military support managed to overcome this final threat.

2.57 the tenor and barry didn't sound too flash, couldn't hear the melody too much :( the cymbols in 3.25 ish are waaaaay out of time hahaha and there was this random part where the cymbols just came in and it sounded totally wrong, poor perrcussionist! otherwise it was great :) i love this mix of pirates!
