Hey bud, love the continued work you do. It's nice to see the similarities and differences between the Turkmen videos and your existing North Korea series. I also liked your "sampler pack" you did some time ago, the one with Turkish, Yemeni, etc. media. Whether you meant it or not, your channel has opened many of us to parts of the world we wouldn't normally investigate or we're actively kept ignorant of. TL;DR love your satellite finds and I wish you the best 👍👍

Effort ... Yes, of course. But there's also the marks of a stifled creative sector in some of these broadcasts. State patronage can be great for the arts. Too much of that and it begins to look excessively controlled by state ideological interests. That said ... This is better than what you would get on old Soviet television. And I think that is exactly the point. For most Turkmen, being better than the USSR is enough. And I can understand why many would feel that way.

Furries :O
@Sensist2009-i4n2 ай бұрын
@@gaelrodregez321There is less than 3 ,000, 000 furries around the world, and only one of their websites has 3 ,500 ,000 results for p*rnography with antropomorphic animals (because this is the meaning of word furry p*rn). Almost all furry animations are se*ualized, r/yíff has more members than r/furry and on almost all furry servers you can find p*rn. And whoever would seek for p*rn with antropomorphic animals, is a zoo*hile. Fact that these are animated changes nothing. No one normal will intentionally seek for something with animal to be attracted. Just like no one normal will associate himself with a fet*sh group like furries (unless he does not realize that). Group that so often claims to be kid friendly

Like North Korea but you are slightly more likely to survive
@Infindox2 ай бұрын
AFAIK from both videos and other people, you have to be invited to go, but if you get there it's slightly safer then North Korea. You still have to watch what you say/do, but not to the degree NK is. Right now there's a power struggle that the "leader" atm is nothing more then a figurehead and his father is actually in charge (this is from a video i watched here on yt)
@Infindox2 ай бұрын
Also it's beautiful in a bizzare and fake way; those cities made of marble look way too clean and empty!
@jessiezgurski63342 ай бұрын
You can go there. You need a "Letter of Invitation" from an authorized source to get a visa. There are tour companies (e.g. Intrepid, Koryo tours) that will arrange that for you. You will have to travel with a tour if you want to go there. Tours seem to cover Ashgabat, the crater that's on fire (you can camp in yurts there), and various historical ruins. If you follow the advice of the tour leader, it should be quite safe.

I was translating the ingredients for the recipe from Tina. I don't know what is Dorag. Is it cottage cheese? I want to try this recipe cooking with my pan.
@jessiezgurski63342 ай бұрын
I think it's milk curds. I actually tried this with dry curd cottage cheese. It mostly worked - the oil needs to be on medium heat so as not to burn the outside of the pastries before the inside cooks. You have to oil your hands to handle the dough because it's sticky.
