Good safe first outing mate. I've got to ask though mate, why the short shifting on to the main straight? You were losing a load of time there it seemed. Like the other guy said, braking ang corner entry was impressive.

Yep your right! The bike wheelies too much if I don’t. It’s a long way from perfect bit night and day better than when I started the weekend. I’m making adjustments to electronics to try and help me but Rome wasn’t built in a day. It’s nice to see everybody is saying the same thing though! 😀 lots of time to be made for free without having to push any harder.

Normally takes me a few weekends riding to get back up to pace, normally find around 3 seconds faster by the third weekend out. It will come mate.

Yes i’m the same mate, coupled with a new bike etc it’s not been easy. I’m sure it will come :) would be over the moon to find 3 seconds though haha I found 1.8 in this race alone by softening the bike off

Difficult mate as you can see! 😂 short shifting to try and control it. Will iron out the electronics to improve corner exit but it is a good laugh! When are you coming back?

What’s your initial thoughts compared to the 600?

I certainly enjoy the challenge of riding / racing the bigger bike. I have a lot to learn with the electronics even though it’s just really basic stuff on the GSXR. I was also not riding my best but it takes me time to get my eye in at the start of each year and I have had next to zero dry running, not like all the boys who have been to spain. Pretty sure I can be competitive in the sprints eventually just a case of building each time I go out.

Looks like you're losing a bit of time on corner exit mate but your entry speed is really good, just sound a tad hesitant to open the throttle on the exit which is understandable as you don't want to be sent to the moon highsiding it. Lap times are pretty consistent too. Definitely not criticism just my humble opinion, although I did win inters once

@@lewisgreen4036 😂😂 Your exactly right mate! I know what I need to work on. So much time to be gained watching this back. I’m always a bit rusty at the start of the season, not to mention a new bike. The race weekend vlog comes out on sunday afternoon so you can see how the weekend went for me. Fingers crossed i’m a bit faster at the next one 😃
