If you can hover and fly inverted it helps a lot to understand what’s happening during a piro flip, that’s something that helped me. Before that I couldn’t understand what the hell is going on or how people are even doing it

yeah its funny how some of those moves that look complicate are not. but yet they actually are when you start adding the stick stir in..

nest explanation demonstration i have ever seen from the piro master thanks danny liked
@Danny-Lightning-CSR12 жыл бұрын
thanks. the way i explain a stick stir is rolling your cyclic stick in a circular motion, that basically makes the helicopter flip and roll at the same time. for some moves depending on how you want to do them you may make full circles, half circle or a very small circular motion. watch my cyclic stick when i start talking about it and think of it as a cup of coffee being stirred lol..

This is actually ingenious. It's a great way to visualize what it actually happening. Broken down with a way to remember. Nice work. I will be studying this. Intersesting.

figuring out how to add the stick stir to roll and flip at the same time is the hard part. i learned the half piro flips first doing a simualr exercise, after i did enough of them one day i just started string the stick and they fell into place.

yeah, you use stunt mode, stunt mode is just setting your throttle curve so you always have throttle even at low stick. and setting your pitch so you have 0 at mid stick and something like +12o of pitch at high stick and -12o at low stick.. if you go upside down in normal mode you may not have enough pitch or the motor could shut off depending how you have it set.

nice work danny.. what flight sim is that?
@Danny-Lightning-CSR12 жыл бұрын
interesting, he does it with right rudder instead of left rudder.. that seems kind of confusing since most people probably use left rudder..

it will be very close when you do it fast but not a real piro flip without the stick stir. i kept doing moves like this over and over and one day i went wait a second i think i am actually doing them s i paid attention to my stick movements and sure enough i was stirring the stick and doing real piro flips, somehow it just came to me after crazy amounts of repetition. stick stirring hard to learn or teach, i dont know how to tell you the best way to add it in to the move.

i am not exactly sure what a chaos is exactly, i have heard many definitions of a chaos and i am not sure what is correct. i also have a half piro flip lesson, that is what i started out with and got me into the stick stirring and like i said after lots of reps the stick stir just happened, eventually i moved from the half piro flip to the full piro flips and now i have worked up to the double piro flips, again one day i just got them some how after trying and trying and trying and failing.

Hey to fly upside down am I supposed to put my controller in stunt mode or do I just put the throttle down? Thanks

stunt mode, you also need the correct throttle and pitch curves for stunt mode.

Danny, what model and scheme are you using in Phoenix, also could you provide setting in Phoenix for this model. I believe you have this setup similar to the X5 correct? Thanks, Chad
