Thanks, I am a bit late but this is my first time wanting to have a bait caster as I always thought they were cool. Before I order I’m going to my local fishing shop to see if I want right or left hand reeling. Thanks for mentioning the lubricant problem to!

I just ordered the baitcasting reel piscifun carbon xcs, and the same rod in this video, have not tested both yet. Cool video.

Thank you! You’re going to love it - I did a video on it when it launched. I have an exclusive code for an additional amount off Piscifun products as well. Let me know what you think of it. Here’s the link to that vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bF7Yl56JiaeLmM0si=NnFzLGd5OhuzD3vu

Thanks Chris and welcome to the channel! I can’t believe the prices on everything going up. Even my rod mule that I picked up for $40 has had several increases, with one company selling them for $80 now…🤦🏻♂️ I hope you enjoy it, don’t forget to add a drop or two of oil before using. Let me know what you think! Tight lines!

Good video . To the point with no wasted time . Important that you mentioned about PRE - OILING the reel . Have 10 baitcasters three of which are Piscifun reels which are my go to reels . The other three are hanging on the wall .

That’s the other 7 reels

Thanks Ernest! I really can’t believe how good their products are for the price, they are very good reels. The only one I’m still struggling with dialing in correctly is the Spark. I’m going to work with it more this spring. I appreciate the feedback and try my best to avoid the overhype nonsense on so many other channels. I want to bring good info, without being too dry (no pun intended in relation to oiling reels...lol).

How many drops of oil needed to lubricate this reel ? I bought this reel too.
@live2fishofficial2 жыл бұрын
Less is always more, but since this was bone dry, I started with two drops. I performed some test casts and it continued to whine. I added one drop at a time thereafter, but it was only two more drops (for a total of four) before it was properly lubricated. Hope that helps!

What type of oil or lubricant do you use for the baitcaster? I literally just bought the reel
@live2fishofficial6 ай бұрын
I used the Bass Pro Premium reel oil. Worked like a charm.

I have just bought one of these and for the price they are pretty good, I have spent more on bait than this reel cost. Don't get me wrong it's no Curado but you can't moan at this price and with regular maintenance you will get your monies worth.

Absolutely! Best bang for your buck if you’re in the market for a decent reel at a very affordable price!👌🏻

What is the best number to keep the reel on between 1to 10.? On that dial on the side their.!
@live2fishofficial3 жыл бұрын
Once I have it dialed in with the tension knob by weight, I start backing off the brakes from 10 going down. Usually I’m somewhere between 5-8 when it’s done. But that can change based on wind too. I’ve had them almost all the way open to about a 3. Most of the time it’s halfway or a bit more. Hope that helps!👍🏻🎣

I got from piscfun phantom x and 7.4 mh.mf crankbite rod . Can I use that rod for other lures?
@live2fishofficial3 жыл бұрын
MH MF are my all around go to rods for Texas rigs and I prefer to throw my shakey heads on them as well. I usually go smaller, like around 7’. That 7’ 4” helps you get a decent long cast with crank baits tho. Have you tried using it for any top/sub surface water fishing, like buzz baits?
