500 models drag is sketchy usually. Hard to get dialed in. Go to 1000 model. Much more balanced. Worth it. I love 500 size ultralight! But. You know the story. Ha

I was looking at this one and the carbon x. I was wanting to do a ultralight combo. What length rod was that? I was looking to maybe get a 4 foot shortest to 5'6 the longest ugly stik or another ultralight rod. I was thinking 1000 to 2000 size but unsure if 500 would be too small I was mainly going to do multi species bank or dock fishing. What do you think would be a good set up?

This was like a 32 inch ice rod. Go with the 1000 size.

Why are there brand name reels with 3-5 bearings that perform better than the 9+1 or 10+1 bearings on a piscifun. I got one from them and the drag sucks and my 5 year old Abu and Shimano combo reels are much, much better

Nah, the pflueger absolutely crushed the piscifun.. the end there with the piscifun was sticky as hell .. it was like that the whole way through on the second pull too. How could you possibly say that this 10+1 bearings reel is better than the pflueger. You must not know much about fishing I guess!
