I don't think so. I think Matt's just reflecting upon his fame and how his band has made it, humbly admitting he doesn't understand what's so great about them. They basically just show up and make honest music. However, the bar is set so low in the 2010s, you know, big stars! I mean obviously I disagree and think they're great, but a big part of that is a result of how humble they are.
