@@damianstevenson1201 Same dude! I tried giving them a listen before going to the show but didn't like it. I already loved Health and Daughters but I just kind of rejected these guys until I heard that bass start melting my face in person and knew I was in for a fuckin ride. I bought my tickets solely to see Health and ended up loving two more bands in the process.

@guyonagravitronmachinestan75955 жыл бұрын
@@i_am_not_exp2414 Just because the Nazis of WW2 are dead doesn't mean people today don't act like and/or hold the beliefs of Nazis. Just because fascism isn't to the point of execution and mass genocide anymore doesn't mean people still try to silence others for holding certain beliefs. Just because neither of these things are as widespread or extreme as they used to be doesn't mean they're extinct. Radical political ideologies come from both sides of the playing field, from the alt-right to ANTIFA, from the KKK to Social Justice Warriors, fascists are everywhere, blindly willing to hurt, harm, and degrade the lives of others. People still kill and harm and berate others based upon who they are and not what they've done. You might wanna put down that history book for a bit and open your eyes to the real world and do some research on today. This ain't Auschwitz anymore, this is the here and now.

This song hits you in the face like a wall of bricks especially when you understand the meaning and history behind the lyrics.
@simonnlf Жыл бұрын
What's the meaning and story???🥺
@SimonD992 Жыл бұрын
@@simonnlf it's about genocide, it's about the Holocaust and nazism. The line No work will set you free is directly referring to the phrase that you read when you entered Auschwitz concentration camp which read "Your Work Will Set You Free" implying that the people sent there were only labour prisoners and would be set free if they worked hard enough. Not only was this a lie and they were all killed once they got worked near to death, but that's what the modern US empire does with forced prison labour and mandatory minimum sentences for minor drug offenses. The whole album is about the modern rise of nazism and fascism in the world and wanting people who engage with it to scream as loud as they can that we're not going back there, never again can we as humans ever let it get that bad again. So if you can, give it a listen and stay aware of those who seek this kind of world again cause we can't let them rule again.

Shoes at the end is a reference to the rooms of discarded shoes found in the concentration camps. The song is about the orchestra's that played music at concentration camps. The music video is trying to draw a parallel to modern neo-nazi's I assume.
