If using salted pistachios, do you just omit the added salt? Or is it best to stick with unsalted?

I see ground almonds a lot in recipes in the UK ... in the U.S. we have almond flour and almond meal. Which one should i use in a cake recipe?

May I ask where you purchased the pistachios, they look like either Persian or Sicilian and are such an intense colour. Hope you had a great birthday.

They’re from a company called Borna Foods, they don’t state a specific origin but yes I agree likely Sicilian or Iranian
