Hey all, here's a Q&A that turned out way longer than it was supposed to be, haha. I had a lot of other questions I answered but this video was far too long so I had to cut some out. So I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question. Drop me a message so I can answer!
Let me know what you think, as I said I probably won't do these often or maybe never again haha you decide.
Thanks for sending me all of your questions there were some really good ones!
Thanks for watching!

Outstanding video. Thanks for sharing your circumstances and know how. Your advice on learning to ride is the best in my opinion too. I learnt on my mates Suzuki TS 90 and it was just the right size to get familiar with the whole dynamic as you stated. Wish I would've taken your advice for a car park though, I rode on a quiet street but ended up crashing into a hedge and shredding my arms, fun. Bike was unscathed. The best motovlogger I've watched, keep them coming.

Aw man haha. I was friends with some girls at the time but they weren't tom boys like me they didn't really have an interest in bikes, they saw me riding the guys bikes and wanted to join in.. they both crashed first time 😂 on the car park, gravel rash and a scratched bike haha.

Hi Chaz, thanks for sharing. Don't be too stressed by not knowing which direction to go career wise. I tried lots of stuff and only found something i love 4 years ago, about the time of my 50th birthday. But one thing I do want to do is ride my GSX14, my therapy, my love, my pleasure. As bikers, we are blessed with that.

"What do you want to do with your life" and "Where do you see yourself in X number of years" are trick questions. Some people have a quick answer but my take is that I am always looking for new challenges and adventures. As you challenge yourself, learn new things, explore new places and meet new people, opportunities will present themselves. The key to life is to live it, press on and break down the walls in front of you. "What do you want to do with your life?" Learn and explore. "Where do you want to be in X years?" Chasing the next adventure and meeting the next challenge. You are great, your videos are great, stay on the throttle and drive through the smoke! Cheers!

I had a bit of a slide with my MT10 and sadly on the right side wich meant that the entire exhaust was ruined so i had to replace it ... replaced it with acropovic. I dont think keeping a bike for 3 years counts as getting the most out of it. My coworker still has his 98 Yamaha XJR 1200 and since the retro trend came about his bike looks fashionable again. Personally im very happy with my bike and dont plan to swap it out for something different Loved the QnA

As for your exhaust i know you loved your Akrapovic on your MT07 but for me you definitely should go Arrow ive got the shorty GP Arrow on my Daytona 675R and it really is awesome there a fantastic exhaust as you obviously already know but you've changed your bike so id say go with a different exhaust system just my opinion 👍🏻 and as for your dreams to travel i visited NYC April this year and its honestly the best place on earth so much going on and obviously very emotional down ground zero for obvious reasons and the people are so friendly just an amazing place. Suggestion for a bike ride destination, unless you already know it! Squires in Sherburn in Elmet, thats a small village in between York and Leeds. Go there on a summer Sunday, or even a weekday evening and you can't move for bikes, 100's of 'em! It's been a biker place for over 50 years, it was once in the centre of Sherburn but became so popular that the locals tried to get it closed down. To be fair, it was literally manic with bikes popin wheelies and doing burn outs all day long! So the owner bought a closed down pub on the road out of the village and turned it into a much larger venue. I'd be surprised if you haven't heard of it. They have a website, check it out. As far as career choice goes, forget bikes and cars, it'll be all electric or fuel cell in 10 years or so. For me, thats the end of it. If it doesn't have an internal combustion engine, I'm not interested.
@PistonHeadChaz

@turboslag
@turboslag 5 жыл бұрын
I'm using the term 'biker' generally, the whole spectrum of motorcyclist use the place, from noobs to veterans! It's not a pub, more a cafe, following in the tradition of what squires started as, The Coffee Bar. Every type of bike you can imagine can be seen there and there is a bike clothing shop on site. It's a good ride from Manchester and the local roads are great, just be careful of Cop speed traps! Really good vibe, I can recommend it if you can deal with being in Yorkshire!

Sadly I was one of those kids brought up without dogs... I do have a soft spot for them and would love to have one at some point. Is there a particular dog breed you would recommend for a potential first time owner? Great video btw!
@PistonHeadChaz
@PistonHeadChaz 5 жыл бұрын
Aww 😭. Depends are you able to walk them? Big dogs need walking but smaller ones not so much so if you have a busy lifestyle a smaller one would suit. For a bigger dog you can't really go wrong with say a Lab or Golden retriever. Smaller maybe a shihzhu? Lacey (the black and white one) is a chihuaha cross shihzhu and shes the most chilled dog ever she would be perfect for a first time owner.

We had 3 Dalmations they were always crazy loopy. Smaller dogs are much easier. I'd recommend a girl too, male dogs are a pain for peeing up everything and trying to hump every other dog they see haha.

Lol. I did not think that this was intended as a dog buying advice vlog haha. Anyhow, the advice is good big dog Walkies every day twice a day, my Rottweiler was a teddy bear that stopped my bikes getting nicked. Miss him. He went to heaven then a bike was stolen. Miss him, ya if it moved he looked like he’d hump it, lol.

I'll bear that in mind, yeah I'm self-conscious at the best of times so having a dog that just humps everything wouldn't be ideal haha

Oh fuck. Those dogs are the cutest. The first one defo has the best hair. Sorry to ask you a question after the QnA but could you give me some tips or advice? I'm looking for motor trade jobs right now the problem I have tho is I graduated as a Software Developer but I just don't have any drive for that field. I love motorcycles and anything with an engine so I'd love to have a job selling cars or bikes. Is there anything employers would look for in particular? How could I raise my chances to at least get an interview? What would grab an employers attention when it comes to this field? Thanks. And I get the same at the hair dressers. All the other ladies are like "Do you ride that thing!? It's dangerous!" cos I always park right outside. xD

Yep her fur is gorgeous! Like silk haha. Honestly, I'm probably not the right person to ask. I was super lucky because my Dad works were I do and has done for over 25 years so that's how I got my foot in the door. I started in the call centre because that's all there was, I didn't like it at all wasn't my thing. I heard about the job opening for my current job and was like that sounds more like me! So I transferred, I think that's the thing with the Motor trade, it's hard to get in so sometimes you just need to take anything in there then hopefully move when something becomes available. In the motor trade everyone tends to have been in the same place for years and years the staff turn around is so low. Before getting a job here I went for several interviews at other dealers and never got the job. I was applying for parts jobs at the time but I was always in the last two and they would always choose the guy over me. You just need to express how passionate you are to work in the trade I guess. Sorry I can't be of more help haha.

PistonHeadChaz Thank you for the reply. My bfs sister works in the motor trade and she's got a word in for me once or twice but it seems it still isn't enough. There's not a lot of job openings near me either. I guess the only thing to do is to just keep trying. Thank you! More videos of dogs kthnx

Come off it; Winter and rain do not run from the 10th of September 2018 to March 2019. If you have a new MT, new bike anxiety would have you be out riding it September, October November before salty roads of maybe December or January etc not wait 6 months from now, be honest dude, lol, XD

Interesting Q&A - I find that i cant answer the 1 bike question. I want to ride all the bikes, scooters etc. I cant help it. A Ducati Desmosedici is my bet. Only 1500 made, its a collectors item that wont drop in value. Australia doesnt have that 16yo Bike licence law, it starts at 18 here and everyones been trying to get it dropped to 16. As for Q&A - My question you can answer here or in a future video would be about the female sexisum in the bike world. Seems there is 2 types of female riders, the Tarmac prowlers who just pose and ride too and from cafe's on nice bikes, and the girl ride such as yourself who does track days etc and that intimidates 90% of the insecure boys lol.
@PistonHeadChaz
@PistonHeadChaz 5 жыл бұрын
I'm glad it's not just me who struggles to answer this haha. I also want to ride/own soooo many bikes so it hard to put it down to just one! That sucks how it's 18, here it's 16 for a 50cc or 17 for a 125. I couldn't wait til I was 17 so I got a 50 at 16! That is a good question. I personally don't attend "bike meets", "bike cafe's" I did used too but I'm just not down for that anymore, its more turning up like look at me I'm a female I ride a bike (not just females though guys pose too), I'd rather ride all day than sit somewhere. I like to ride somewhere far and then stop for food or a drink but it's never a "bike cafe" it'll just be a pub in the middle of no where. The "posing" element is tough because posing could be classed as standing next to your bike in leathers (which I do a lot of, it's what people want to see on the internet. Girls with bikes, they don't care for a photo of you on a track day unfortunately) then there's the bikini, bikes and boobs out kind of posing. I used to do some promotional modelling myself back in the day at bike shows then that lead to some actual modelling, some normal and some with cars and bikes. I did it for about a year but then decided it was no longer for me. I didn't feel I was good enough to "model" back then and I still don't. I like pretty pictures, aesthetically pleasing photos so I have no issue with people that model with bikes (it's their choice & sometimes makes for good photos). I have an issue with girls who constantly bash other female bikers for "posing" but then do it themselves. There are a LOT of female bikers now a days but I also feel like there may be a lot of them who saw what they could get from it, it's almost like a trend.. People who had zero interest in bikes then all of a sudden they live for them but not everyone is like me not everyone was lucky enough to be brought up with them. I have a couple of female riding friends but I tend to stay clear, I've been burnt a few times, as I mentioned briefly in my video. I think a lot of it is using people for "clout" aka followers, so I have trouble trusting people now a days and trusting this whole "girl gang" crap. I keep myself to myself now a days.

HAHA ow man i know so many "S1000rr" Street killas who live on insta and have 3 inch chicken strips. Over here there is a massive "power ranger" movement. What they do is Wear adidas track pants and hoodies over the full leathers so the guys look "buffer" its hysterical.

Well kiddo I can't help with the money side of things as I am on a tight budget, would like to have enough money to help more people, but I could help out with a track day. I am hoping to book two days at Anglesey with the Jamie Whitham track days on the Wednesday and Thursday in the first week in October. You can have one of the days if you want and I can have the other or may be I could pay for both of us to ride the same day. It will be the last track day for me this year as I just seem to live at work. This is only my third track day ever so I am a novice and this old git just likes to be on my bike. If this sounds ok let me know.
