The stack cap adjust ur temp. I have learned this on my pit boss 820. I have learned that a good 2 finger gap on a calm day will keep your temp at around a 5° difference from your setting. Also I read that the p setting adjust your temp as well when it's cold or hotter day. I live in north Alabama so my outside temp is never really bad. But will have to see how it does on those humid July/August days.

I bought the PB 1600 pro series haven’t used it yet because I still need to do a burn out. However keep doing your thing no matter how good of meat you make everybody wants to comment on how they can do it better. If they could do it that good they make a video like yourself. Stay Blessed, keep dropping pellets

Just got a Traeger 780 pro, and they provide an app that operates over WiFi instead of burning your hand to manually adjust your Pit Bull's method of smoking, btw Algie. Hear me out, I'll give you a huge life changing smoking tip to start: add mustard to your rub (any protein other than fish), completely covered, you'll have super tender and super juicy results. Hate mustard? Yeah, you completely can't taste it after your smoking period. It burns off. Anyway, your Pitt Boss had me jealous for a moment until I saw the grill. Not stainless... cleaning and maintaining is crucial when you want to use your smoker almost every single night. That grill doesn't have uniform grooves. The benefit of that grill plate is you get that cross pattern sear, which you can do with straight grill plates if you put some love in your smoking. There's a lot of work at a cost here. If it was stainless metal then I'd be comfortable cleaning at a faster pace with a wire brush. That isn't, you'd be putting some serious elbow grease with a nylon brush, EXAUSTING! And both sides! So I would say cleaning that nice smoker/grill as if you wanted it to last you a lifetime, about 2 hours of scrapping and scrubbing every 3-4 smoking periods. No bueno. It's a sick looking grill, I'll admit, and thanks for the video and thank you for your service. Another tip for @Algie Long. It's in my nature to be neighborly: - Do cross cuts on your dogs before grilling so they do not split or budge like that

Good video except if your using it as a BBQ you should raise the temperature to 350 x 400 degrees. It will brown the burgers and chicken better. You’ll still get some wood flavoring in the chicken. Just a recommendation.

Good video next time don't put your chicken on top grate reason being is you don't want to cross contamination to happen you and your family can get sick juice's in chicken is much different then other meats but any how I just went and bought a off set grill slash smoker I'm not really liking it to much baby sitting and I'm really liking this grill you got so I'm going to go for it and get one I've seen alot of KZbin videos on it I guess I just didn't want to throw 500 towards a grill but for real it does do many different way to cook it sears it roast it smokes it grills there is a plate under your grate that you slide open so that the next time you do steaks or burgers just slid that open and that way you will get the grill marks oh and one last thing the probes are meant to stick in your food while your cooking that you can see the enternal temp while your cooking there should be a couple of holes on the side of your barrel same side as your hopper that you put the probes through there that way you don't crush the wire with your lid otherwise good video all in all.
