Pro tip for any first smoke. Spray all shiny parts in the smoke pit with Pam spray, (food grade oil) so when its cooked it "seasons" the metal coating it with a protective oil coating that will stop it from rusting.

That Pro Series looks awesome. The digital temp setting is a MUST HAVE. (not a fan of the pre set temp selector) I love the ash cup access from the underside, the roll out racks and 1300 sq/in is huge. Might have to add to my Pit Boss fleet. I have an Austin XL, 600FB, Series 5 upright and a Series 7 upright. Just a suggestion but you should do a video making Philly Cheesesteaks using smoked brisket. They're absolutely amazing. GREAT VIDEO SARGE
