Interesting...I have not had any luck...so Pit Boss actually says they can not help...we need to call our internet provider... We saw similar comments and someone said to switch wifi from 5g to 2.4 g...and thats what the Titan says...it only runs on 2.4 hrz...so we bought an extender that allows that to happen and still CAN NOT connect...its extremely frustrating...my 2 wireless thermometers, and 4 other grills connect...no problem I will have to look into that...its not ok to be happing that much
@mschmidt31085 ай бұрын
Many devices cannot hook to 5ghz. And you need to use 2.4. If your house wifi/router has a guest network option, set it up and you will have a higher likelihood of success. Thats the only way we could use our roomba and even my Memphis wood pellet has the same issue…don’t get me started on that

I’ve been looking at the Titan. One thing I don’t like about the shelves is that the wire runs from side to side instead of front to back. Makes it difficult to work a spatula. Everything else looks amazing.
@PelletsandPits7 ай бұрын
Why....you flip side to side..why run the racks that way...running left to right makes it one fluid move...by having up and down grates you would use that motion and then flip side to side...seems like its a better fit...BUT more importantly i think its more about the ability to remove the grates...im sure thats the difference in the design...

Good review. I bought the Titan last week, and the one thing that these videos don't talk about is the main problem that it won't connect to your home wifi. And like everyone else who has called customer service, it is our home networks fault and not Pit Boss fault, even though everything else in my house will connect. Something is wrong with the controller, and you can't update the firmware if you cannot connect to wifi.
@PelletsandPits7 ай бұрын
I am currently having that problem right now...I am actually filming right now and just mentioned that...same problem as well...5 grills and 2 different thermometers have connected no problems at all...it has to be a PIT BOSS Problem...
@aavmarine7 ай бұрын
@PelletsandPits When you call, they will tell you that if you can connect via Bluetooth and not wifi, then it is your home networks fault, and for you to call them and see if they can figure it out. If they can't figure it out, which they can't, then Pit Boss will help you out. More than likely, send you an updated firmware controller. Which I have read will correct the connection problem. Also, I have read from other owners that they were told that this controller has 2008 chips in it. I personally believe that the firmware will not connect to the latest wifi bands. Thus, not connecting to your home wifi. So, when you decide to call PB, tell them you have already talked to your internet company, and they said there is nothing they could do.
