I noticed today on my daughters wpb 170 that it kicks great 80% of the time but then you may have 1/2 kicks that seem to have not grip so I'm thinking is there a few dodgy teeth. Soi I was thinking would it be a new set like this. I will have to take it apart and have a look to see

Tbh if it kicks 80% of the time it's probably not worth doing yet You've got to split the casings to change it so its a big job

Hi, it seems like you know these engines really well so hopefully you can help me out I’ve been struggling so bad with this little engine. So I’ve been having issues with my ZS155 at first I thought I had clutch issues because when I bought it, i moved the gear selector up and down and it wouldn’t go into any gear or as I thought at the time that the clutch was just not engaging. I took it apart and replaced the clutch. Popped it in first, it ran until I needed to switch to 2nd and wouldn’t go into any gear after that. I thought it was the clutch again so I took it apart again and it popped into first again until I needed to switch to second. I think this would happen because when I put the clutch basket back on I move the drive gears and it would free up the gears again or something? But anyways I would lose all power and revved out like crazy because it popped into neutral or something. I currently have it split apart but I don’t know what the problem could be. Hopefully you can help, thanks.

Check out my other video about the jammed gear selector and check that first. The clutch doesn't really affect the gears in that way normally

Hi on my 140cc I had the selector problem I fixed it but it’s not going down to neutral but shifts to any other gear any ideas?

I would take the gear selector linkage out and see if you can do it by hand by turning the end of the gear change barrel. If it doesn't turn by hand then it's inside on the gears or forks

I have a fly wing Mx 100 it will not come out of gear it just locks up in will not go into neutral it makes the clicking noise as if it were changing gears but there is no neutral
