We stayed there a few weeks ago two pitches up from where you are , bus into Newark outside site , nice meals in the Micro brewery, been staying there for several years , now our secret is out , thanks Trev

It’s not a bad noise, just a little in the background but in the van we hardly noticed it. Great place for an overnight stop or stay longer an visit the local area including Lincoln which is not too far 😃👍🏻 Trev

We really enjoyed this site. The road is not such a big issue when you are camped on the pitch but if you walk along the ridge it’s very loud. The brewery tap was excellent 👍🏻 Trev

Nice to see the site again, looks like a new reception, it's not changed much since we last visited a few years ago, Tess used to love the walk around the ponds & perimiter of site, I see the big American RV is still there at the wooden cabin, they have certainly invested in the Milestone brewery 👍

That's a great view out of your window! The little wooden walking bridge is cool! Posh hotel for bugs LOL. That's a pretty lake! Looks like a great place to walk the pups. Wow that is one busy highway! The facilities at your campgrounds always look so nice. We have many that are very questionable. And I have yet to see one with a doggie wash. Wow official doggie walk. That's awesome! Brewery pub.... whatever you call it... I'm there! LOL. Phew fast train! Must be like AmTrak. Cheers! Have fun with your friends. Awesome vid!

Shame about the A1, but I thought the park was lovely and the earth mounds did block the traffic noise out quite a lot. I would definitely stay there.

Nice site but too noisy for me. But very convenient for a stop of. Can I ask another ? about Smurf. The socket for the kitchen is up high and left of the hob unit, do you find it an issue plugging in appliances. I was concerned that for instance the coffee makers (must have for me) cable would be draped over the hob. Would you have it moved in retrospect. Thanks again.

The power socket can be moved over a bit so it’s the other end nearer the sink. There is also a socket on the other side of the sink but it’s currently low down. I am sure it’s possible to add an additional one to accommodate a coffee maker 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev
