Don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching. Edit: you were the one who got pics of my partner on the daddy actually. The one with the silhouette of me on top was super cool!

Your videos are awesome! I'm getting back in to the sport and live near charlotte. It's nice to see some people climbing outdoors right around the corner!

Did this as my first trad route this past weekend. It started raining right before I scampered across that little traverse to the tree area. Then, I was freaked out and couldn’t figure out what to grab since it was slick. Didn’t know if I was on route or not. Ended up building an anchor at the tree and just having the dude I was with finish it out. Glad to have this video to show people what scared me. 😂

@@adamsteinhoff were you out there Friday? I took someone to do the daddy and we got rained on on the way out. Even when it isn’t wet this pitch feels somewhat harder than 5.4

@@climbingbrosNC yeah. We got clobbered by that storm around 3pm.

I've always found this final pitch on the Prow to be super awkward and even a little bit sandbagged. I've traversed high, as you do in this video, and also down climbed and gobe up the final corner from a little lower. Awkward both ways! Love that route, tho!

I've done the other way as well. Both do feel weird. Compared to the other pitches, this pitch isn't as fun and does feel a little harder. I wish there was a better end to a climb that good.
