2019 and I'm mad at myself, then later confused that once I was pimp-slapped with this brother's LEAD, that I didn't fully realize how FEROCIOUSLY acute his execution of this song was. I guess, Black male excellence, here again, overwhelmed me, and my brain was SHOOK and would not register my man's FIYUH delivery, lol. Aly Ndao with all due respect all the soloist did was copy her and add falsetto and avoid vocally challenging notes in his range. It's safe to stay in your range and sometimes it's boring. He jumped back and fourth with the notes that were going up. The rest of the choir used Brandy's notes from the chorus and added fillers throughout the song so that they wouldn't be sitting there doing nothing until the chorus. Brandy however when she sang it live she ADDED more notes to the song and challenged her lower range singing mid baritone notes. Granted she did lower the key but that also meant her already low notes were lower and she killed it. This choir in no way one-upped Brandy. They simply sang it the way an acapella choir would rather than one person. And I just proved to you why.

This isn't discrediting their talent in anyway. They did wonderfully. But, in my opinion, not enough to say that they demolished Brandy when this sounds almost just like the track.

I know Brady did some efforts specially when doing live because she needs to do high note to make it work. this guy her have just a louder voice than her and kind of stick to the stdio song. It's brady's song for sure but in these, the louder your voice can b, the better it is.
