It’s like we want to support good ideas so they see that they’re good and make more but then instead of that they just go “aha, money!” and remake the same ideas over and over because they can’t figure out why it worked the first time and transfer that to new stories.
@kipolem536 сағат бұрын
But didn't How To Train Your Dragon feel complete to people? Kung Fu Panda? Wreck-It Ralph? I'm not sure that argument fits so snugly with animated films. Especially since now studios release stuff like Dune, Across/Beyond the Spiderverse, and Wicked where they PURPOSEFULLY only release half a story for the first movie, but like...that is not hiow it always was, this is super recent, yes Back to the Future and LOTR did something to that effect but A) Not animated and B) That is a trilogy so not like, "Oh this is actually one movie but we cut it in half to make more money." I guess Harry Potter actually started that but that was because Goblet of Fire had to cut so much out.

4:07 The sequence of reactions by Producer Guy here were so good. Fantastically conveyed that genuine shock, concern, and relief he must have been feeling from these story beats.

"Oooooo, ending up in a giant clam is tight!" 😂😂😂😂 I wonder if he had to think about putting that joke in 😂

Their business strategy reads less like planned business endeavors with calculated moves and more like a crackhead asking for more and more money until you catch on and stop giving them "bus fare", while also stealing all your stuff, your roommate's stuff, their family's stuff, and pitching 5,000 business ideas from their basement every day.

Sounds oddly specific lol Hope the hypothetical situation ended or ends well 👍 Ps: I’ve dealt with the type.

"you should always follow your visions" --- maybe better answer: "arent you here to trim my visions for budget or vagely anticipated viewer preverences?" --- this time producer-guy: "hey, shut up"

Honestly, I was blown away in the theaters. I was expecting a cliche betrayal but she was actually good? I'm not sure that this is better than an expected outcome but it was certainly refreshing. Anticlimactic but refreshing.

@@chambersr1176 But this clam has insane muscles so it can squeeze really... tight. I hope you can see how this might be quite different from any giant one you've experienced.

I would love to watch one of these Pitch Meeting episodes filmed, Live … The number of times and speed with which Ryan changes places, characters/mindset and outfits, within a single episode, is nothing short of breathtaking … I have no idea how he does it …
