Man City should have never been up for debate for an 'A'. Honestly they're closer to a C than an A. Arsenal are A-/B+ territory. Underperformed in the domestic cups, losing two home draws, one against a depleted Liverpool team, came through an easy UCL group and edged past an average Porto side. In the league they're doing well but will unlikely be top at the end of the current gameweek and almost all predictions had them coming top 3 anyway. Luton deserving of a B, they started the season with the argument 'will they beat Derby's points tally' - they've troubled Liverpool, United, City, Arsenal this season...and a good chance of staying up.

I disagree, and I’m not an arsenal fan, fuck them tbh. But I think they have to be A. It’s not easy to go again and keep the same standard from the season before. They are top of the league and unlikely to finish with lower GD than Liverpool. They went through a sticky patch, came back and beat Liverpool convincingly and since then have looked like the best defensive team in the league. They’re also still in the Champions League. This idea of “oh, it’s all relative” is nonsense if you’re not going to reward the teams at the top for staying at the top, particularly when a lot of people thought arsenal wouldn’t be able to keep the same level this year.

Beside that Arsenal have the most clean sheets in the league, best defense records meaning they have conceded the fewest amount of goals, haven’t lost in the league to either Liverpool of City, but have beaten both and have scored the most goals out of any team even tho by what other fans say that their strikers are shit, yet still have out scored everyone. Also haven’t been in a UCL Quarterfinal in 14 years, so how was it expected. Every Arsenal fan was pretty much just happy and thought they had to go through the group at least. Arsenal is an A and so is city since they are still going for a treble while Rodri has missed games, KDB has been out for 6 months, Haaland has been injured as well and yet they are the only team that can still win the treble in this country.

Arsenal is an A is wild. Spurs and Liverpool for me have been the stand outs in terms of turning their form and performance relative to how poor they were last season. Liverpool were 10th for the majority of last seasons so it was lucky in some sense they finished 5th. Spurs dipped dramatically at the end of last season. With Kane gone spurs have looked like a team that in the future will challenge for trophies and I can see that happening. Same with Liverpool even if Klopp is leaving. Liverpool were expecting to be in a chance for Europe but not the title. They are the most unpolished let’s say, project out of city arsenal and Liverpool.
