Hey there, i was scrolling my KZbin feed and i came across your video and i thought i was reading the title wrong. Thank you so much for visiting our village and bringing it to the lime light. I live not far from the Fire station. And i'm watching this during lockdown and making me crave for this uncle's dhall puri, he has the best dhall puri ever

Thoroughly fun and enjoyable. I am so going to look up a recipe for dhal puri is there is one online. Thanks for your cool art of the day Riki. Bryan you see beauty in so many things others would walk past and think quite ugly. That is a gift.
@rikiarmstrong34933 жыл бұрын
He does :) Dhal puri is difficult to make, you have to precook lentils and then there are 3 fillings. But check it out, lots of fun. Maybe you can adapt something similar.

I suggest you drive from Piton to Mapou, then via la Nicoliere, a winding road on the mountains to La Nouvelle Decouverte. There are forests where deer are found and there is a deer shooting season.

I still haven't see a deer in the wild, maybe a trip is in order

Just love your videos exploring the villages & genuine Mauritius. I also like your genuine enthusiasm when finding an old building or interesting food. My interests are the same. Ill come joining you exploring in a few years. Will probably settle down in Flic en flac. Is that a good place for a disabled middleaged man. Will probably start with renting & move around the island a little. So fascinated that the island seems so much bigger than it is, since there are so much to explore. Have you explored most of the island yet? Of course it doesnt take so long if you go to the main tourist attractions, which you dont. Love your focus on the off track villages.
@BryanDiscoversWorld3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great comment, Mauritius is a lot bigger than the brochures will have you believe. I did a video on Flic en Flac a few weeks ago and it is my favourite coastal destination so far, so good choice. From what we saw most of Mauritius is move more towards being disabled friendly and with the major tourist attractions already being compliant, not sure on small villages, but Flic en Flac is good in that regard.
