Steelers have their QB1 in Mason. The Eye Test showed me that Mason is a 6'5" strong arm QB with arm talent, QB IQ, Pocket Presence, Poise, and that can deliver the ball to this talented Group of offensive players. I haven't felt this good about a Steelers QB since Big Ben 2017 Season. The Steelers have a Plan with Zac and Mason!

Agree, The Steelers signed him when there was no other interest, plus he’s got good chemistry with the offense along with lots of respect. This has been his home for six years. Thanks

Noone knows if Mason is the answer at QB. He got pushed aside for a number of reasons when he was young and never given a fair chance to develop. Trubisky has been given chances with both the Bears and Steelers and has failed; Pickett has had moments but lacked consistency and the only one to show he can move the team is Mason. As a Steeler fan Is it time to give Mason a real chance because it's always a gamble with very few exceptions when picking a QB but he has shown enough not to give up on him.

Mason was the 2017 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner. Jayden Daniel won it this past season (2023) Why go out and waste all that money on a Jayden Daniel-esque college QB when you already have one on the roster. Mason also won the Sammy Baugh Trophy in 2017 which Patrick Mahomes won in 2016. There is a reason the Steelers bragged that they got a "first round talent" in the third round. Don't be hardheaded . . . just go with Mason and spend your draft capital surrounding him with talent, both offensive and defensive.

Mason is a FA so the steelers dont know at this point if he will be back. I think this could be leverage to help get Mason to sign if he is the OC. He may feel like he would finally get a fair shot at QB 1. All that said its to early to throw the terrible towl in on your 1st rd investment
