Great document about the West Head during WW2. Knew about the army protection but would not have a clue about all the details you have provided. Cheers

Wow John. 3 days ago I just commented on your Jack 'Bluey' video and now you've produced this latest video on the West Head anti-submarine nets. Such rich videos. Thoroughly enjoyed learning more about West Head and its significance during WW11. So coincidental that I watched the 'Bluey' video so recently and now I find myself here. Great work to you and your team

Just noticed what seems to be a concrete floor in a small cave in a rock, about 50m north of the pill box at the boom net mount , close above the water. Is this something to do with the WW2 defenses?

There were 2 AA guns and a 3'' gun at the Hawkesbury River Rail Bridge and holes were drilled into the bridge for dynamite charges to blow it up and prevent it falling into enemy hands, Do you have any info on the 6' gun at Shelly Beach, Manly and gun emplacements at Dobroyd Head ?

All I know about what you ask is that they were where you say. If anyone knows more they could post here. ED.
