Thank you so much! I have been waiting for this video! Rotations are my favourite elements :) I’ll start with this question: When you showed arabesque, Evita (the gymnast) went from arabesque to penche at the same rotation. Do the gymnasts get a bonus for that? I know they used to on the 2013-2016 cop for sure (for changing the trunk position if I am not mistaken). And also I would really love to know the values for when they bent their back backwards during arabesque and attitude rotations.

hello! i am glad you found this content useful and interesting! 🥰 to answer your question: evita is actually not the only one in this video performing a CBD (combined body difficulty), but gymnasts do not receive any bonus for combining two DB in one, they just will be awarded one DB instead of two (provided that the connection and requirements from one DB to the other are valid). For all Rotations DB values check out the tables section about Rotations DB. Anyways, bending back with the trunk during attitude and arabesque adds up a 0.2 to the base rotation, so it's 0.5 + 0.2 x n. of additional rotations beyond the Base rotation.

Thanks for answering! Yes I know what a CBD is (thanks to another video you made), this rule sure brings many spectacular combinations. Looking forward to see some routine analysis from you, that would sure be interesting. Thanks again and keep up the wonderful work!

@@rhythmicgymnasticsstars1227 thank you for your enthusiasm! i unfortunately took the quite painful decision of no longer publishing any active gymnasts' exercises analysis from now on, but only educational content with clips as examples for the time being 😊

@@saem_rgI think they get the base rotation value of the second skill added on to make for one BD Like an attitude “.3” + a tonneau “.3” Would mean they’d get .6 for those two rotations I think they also get 0.1 for the transitional rotation

what is the difference between penché and back split with trunk at horizontal or below??
@saem_rg2 жыл бұрын
penché is performed on flat foot, back split with trunk at horizontal or below worth 0.5 is a pivot, hence performed on the toes (relevé)

Are there any unofficial names or nicknames for the front split pivots with the trunk backwards towards the ground? They are common, surely, there are a shorter, simpler name, with which to refer them?
@saem_rg2 жыл бұрын
they are called kabaeva, but it's still an official name :) some call them 'backscale pivots' too

Whats the name of the pivot where its like penche but one of your hand hold your leg?
@saem_rg Жыл бұрын
it's simply called back split with trunk at/below horizontal with help (or even penché with help) ☺️

Am I the only one who didn't know about the change if value the ring in penche, is the value on flat still 0.4 or has it become 0.5, and how much is the balance worth ? ( 0.5 or 0.6 ?) ( also this is a master peace )
@saem_rg2 жыл бұрын
many DB values changed with new cop indeed! one of the reasons why i made this video 🥰
@saem_rg2 жыл бұрын
back split w/ trunk at horizontal and ring balance is 0.5, when performed on flat foot is 0.4. same goes for back split w/ trunk at horizontal balance :) thank you for your generous compliment! 🥰

@@saem_rg how much are slow turns worth now ?
@saem_rg2 жыл бұрын
@@W4d._.00 we can have two different types of slow turn balances: on flat foot or on relevé. Slow turn on flat foot: 0.10 + Balance value (max. 1 time per exercise) on relevé: 0.20 + Balance value (max. 1 time per exercise) For all news about the rules i suggest to check out the Code itself. The part on Slow turns is at page 79 of the English version 😊

Ring pivot with help should be 0.4, It is clearly more difficult than attitude one.
