It’s called tolls by mail, but the only send the late fee by mail. When you try your toll online, they require you to remember the exact travel date, The whole setup is strategic.

IF they actually came up with an overall website where you can search by plate number, for ALL tolls (including MTA), regardless of which state you drove through, it would be so much easier to determine which ones you owe on. The amount of snail mail from those sources makes it so overwhelming and difficult to figure out if you might be looking at the same toll. They need ultimate TRANSPARENCY. I think it’s intentionally OBSCURE, so they can add their hefty fines. We need help.

I pass the toll everyday 2 times for work. I have an ez pass tag and sometimes it doesn’t read (I have it placed properly where it can easily be read). They then send me mail with violations. Many times I don’t even receive mail. Violations at $5,000 because each toll they add $100, which is $200/daily. This system is broken.

NY is ridicules with this cashless toll system. I get it! But nothing has changed with traffic or whatever they were trying to do with that. The people that come through there from out of town don’t even know where to look for the toll scanners, those are impossible to see with the crazy traffic from both vehicles and those crazy pedestrians. It’s a shame that people dread going to and through NY

I have accumulated alot of tolls coming into NY to care for ky 92 year old mother😢 I don't understand how im being robbed just to drive my car. Its one thing to pay a toll but the citations😢 😢😢 this is ridiculous. Robbing us legally 👺🤕

So let's get this straight. They're trying to pass a bill that protects the deadbeats who use these roads, and yet don't pay to use them like they're supposed to by doing ingenious things like covering their license plates and not purchasing an EZ Pass. That lady has a $55,000 debt that she can't ever emerge from? She did that to herself as did all of these other people. Just don't use these roads, or, pay the tolls like the rest of us do

You get 60 days from the date of the toll (which can be up to 30 days from the date of the toll) before it gets violation fees, like if you didn't remember at any point during that time to pay, i think its reasonable to assume you arnt going to remember until you get the fees, then all of a sudden magically you remember, huh, weird isnt it
