As someone who uses the Pixel 2, the Pixel 4 is underwhelming for a 2019 phone. If they were selling it for $500, though, that would be a different story. BTW, it DOESN'T come with unlimited cloud storage at full quality

Google made it easy for me to decide to get the Pro Max this year. Super wide Angle is more useful for most people. Been waiting for their announcement for the Pixel to see what they are offering this year because I currently own Pixel 3XL. Gonna go to Apple Store later to pick up the Pro Max.

That little Usb A to Usb C adapter has come in so handy over the years. I use it as an adapter on my macbook and also to charge things a bit faster using my macbook charger. Never used it for it's intended purpose when I got the Pixel 1.

I got the 4xl 10mos ago from the Google Store for 300 off? Now it's definitely worth the 💰🤑? The purist of stock Android, great 📷's, 🧈smoothe performance? After all the updates the 🔋, 7hrs SOT with heavy use? I was the 1st in line to bash Google phones? Guess what, after this purchase I was dead wrong. The user experience is it's best feature. As a flagship smartphone collector I've personally always mained Pixels as right now I am maining the Pixel 5 and planning on upgrading to the Pixel 7 pro. But I also have 2 pixel 2 XLs both colors panda and black. 3 Pixel 3 XLs all 3 colors pink, black and white. And ofc the pixel 4 XL clearly white I am planning on getting the other two colors as well. Google is excellent when it comes to software and photography when you buy a pixel you're getting Android the way it's intended to be slick, smooth and quite customizable. For other companies though eh a lot of them especially Samsung heavy customize it to their liking aka One UI etc which has a lot of background activity which I dislike as that can slow down the device if it doesn't have a lot of RAM or isn't very RAM efficient. For a pixel you're getting stock Android no background activity except for the norm so it's as smooth as can be. I have a lot of other flagships from other manufacturers but Google is definitely number one in my book. I'm this video you are very informative and you're also honest about how you feel about the device and I like that. The pixel 4 xl is a beautiful device but it lacked in a few areas but that doesn't mean it's a bad phone. I personally love it the display is gorgeous, the cameras are excellent and it's an excellent performer. My favorite feature about the device is the back glass mat finish it's so smooth to the touch and so nice to hold in the hand.

Awesome vid as always! 💯 What do you think of the "Oh So Orange" color and the new fabric case? I've heard mixed reviews on this year's generation of fabric cases. I think it looks really nice and more high-end. I definitely perfer this year's Pixel 4 look too last year's god awful looking Pixel 3 XL. In my useage, the bezel kinda goes away after a few hours - you dont really notice it that much. as for the brightness , its ... fine. its bright enough to see outside- but im coming from the iphone 11 pro max which is just CRAZY bright. so maybe im spoiled. but the pixel 4 is bright enough for sure

Sheldon Moore it was one of the reasons I returned the pixel 3 because for the 1st time since I had smartphones the alarm let me down , just to name other few the screen started flashing more and more , apps would randomly crash when you used to a iPhone ‘just works’ then the pixel 3 was a letdown yet I liked it better than iPhones which I don’t think are ergonomically nice for some reason anyway I hope you had better experience than me

@@bobmartin2513 It is, you're just confusing wide angle with ultra wide angle. Pretty much all phones have what is called a "wide angle lens" as their single lens setup. It is the ultra wide and telephoto that usually make up the additional cameras. "Triple 12MP Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto cameras" is from Apple spec sheet for the iPhone 11. The FOV of the Wide angle on the iPhone is similar to the FOV of the main Pixel 3/4 camera. It is the ultra wide camera that has the greater FOV.
