Pixel 5 vs 6: Which Pixel is the Phone for you?

I have both and I really really love the feel of the 5. Also the screen on the 5 pops more to me. It's off angle is much better. Content feels like it's gonna jump off the screen where on the 6 it looks like there is a small barrier from the LCD and where you touch it. The 6 is so slippery I constantly drop it out it slips out of my pocket dice I don't use cases or screen protectors. The 5 also seems to run smoother. The 6 has better speakers and better camera. Worst thing about the 6 is the fingerprint reader. It's a nightmare

Why don't Google just make a pixel 5 with pixel 6 camera and snapdragon 865? That's would be my fav phone for years. I would love to own a phone that completely fit in my hand

Great video. Traded my Pixel 5 for the Pixel 6 Pro back in November. I missed the feel and portability of the 5 so much I bought a used one. I'm setting it up as I write this on my Pixel 4 which I thought would fill the void of the 5. Same size, but the screen isn't as nice and face unlock reminds me of my iPhone X days. I really like the rear finger scanner. Pixel 6 Pro under screen scanner is terrible if you work in an industry where your hands are subject to grime, dryness etc.

Yeah the finger print scanner really is the biggest issue I have with my 6. Everything else I've either adapted to or enjoy. But that scanner 🤦‍♂️

I had problems with the scanner at first, for me it was the screen protector. Now I have no issues, got a screen protector from Verizon website ($12.00). The one from Amazon made my scanner useless.

my pixel 5 is just 20 months old, yet after a full charge the battery shows only 7-8 hours of use time...I am currenty using android 13

Im hoping the Pixel 6A will be hybrid of the two, small size with the tensor chip (crossing my fingers that it will be better optimized compared the Pixel 6).

Great video. I love smaller phones, and no matter what I get I always go back to my Pixel 5. Loved the Pixel 4 but the battery was too small, and the Pixel 4 XL is too large for me. Keep up the great work! Unbiased content in the technology world is essential!

I'm deciding between a refurbished Pixel 5 vs. waiting for a Pixel 6A (whenever that will be). My current phone is a OnePlus 6 -- circa May 2018.

I would wait for the 6a to be announced, just to see what it might bring. If you can live with a larger size, I think the Tensor chip holds a lot of promise, as my experience with the performance of the 6 has been great. If worst comes to worst, then there will always be the option of getting the 5!

I ordered a pixel 5 refurbished or renewed excellent condition I'm still waiting for it but yes it's only $167 so I love everything that offers The one thing was the speaker that's the only thing I was worried about but I'll test it for myself what did you decide on getting if you got the five please let me know how it is what's your favorite and least favorite qualities because I have the Pixel 4a and it's a great phone and I love it I just wanted to upgrade to the pixel 5 because cheap I already have my Galaxy S10 as my main phone but I like I don't know I just love the way the pixel feels in the hand it's like I'm using voice to text type this all out and it's just incredibly accurate I don't know just everything about the pixel is for me I like it I don't get me wrong I love my Galaxy S10 for my work but I use both so both are great

@@cobaltblue5523 the refurbished Pixel 5 I had before the P7 was the *_perfect_* size - I do miss that. Fortunately, when I traded it in at Best Buy I got *more* than I paid for it.

So I'm stuck between the 6 & 6pro. The blank screen you mentioned on the 6 I have now on my 5. I love the look of the 6 pro more but really can't decide which one is for me.

12:10 It would be good if you named what features look better or work better on the 6th instead of just a broad statement I mean it I don't know personally I preferred Android 11 I think 12 is 13 or 12 is when they for some reason but the Wi-Fi settings so you have to do see if they click in to the wireless settings on the drop down then you click the turn on or off the Wi-Fi or the cellular network and put it under one that just that was annoying I want to be able to just turn off my Wi-Fi or my cellular but they're making it one more step I know it's just one more click away it would That's why I prefer it on my S10 cuz it doesn't do that s***

3 years the Pixel 6 will last longer in its future proof although the Pixel 5 as I speak in 2022 is super smooth buttery
