Pixel 7a vs. Galaxy A54 - Closer Than You Think!

Really, I feel the A34 is the better choice for people trying to save money (if they are buying the phone outright). There isn't a lot of performance difference between the A34 and A54. There is a difference in connectivity Wifi 5 vs 6. The A34 is the same screen but larger. A really great media device, and CPU speed specs are almost the same as the A54.

Speaking of Samsung, my mother's Pixel 3a finally gave up the ghost over the weekend. She doesn't value phones at all, she just carries it in her purse so she can call in an emergency. I argued with her for a bit as she tried to convince me that she should just buy the cheapest thing she could find on the internet. I eventually talked her up over $100. She ended up with a Samsung A03s. It's a slow little thing but it could have been so much worse. I'm glad they have a budget line because lord only knows what we would have ended up with otherwise. It probably wasn't the absolute best she could get for the money but I feel better knowing Samsung is at least a legitimate brand 😆

One big thing about pixel that puts me off is that its a google phone. I dont want google all in my business. I dont want to use all thier services for everything. Im fine with regular sms and gallery. I just feel like im being spyied on.

Let me preface this with saying I love Samsung displays, they're fantastic and the industry leader, no one disputes that. That being said, I find when I switch to my 7a or 7 pro (after the initial jolt of perceived dullness passes) the display aside from brightness is more "realistic" it terms of color accuracy imo.

It's not remotely close. I have a pixel 6a and that kills the Samsung a 54 5g all around when I compared them with productivity. Waiting for my 7a now that I ordered

Well, it depends on what you're looking for. Battery life is worse on the 7a, significantly so, an hour and a half. The display is a lot worse...the speakers are worse, but the performance is better on the 7a...depends on what you need.

@@StevealiciousTech that's true, I use youcut, canva and mainly the cameras for my small KZbin channel and the 6a works a little better for me. The Samsung wasn't bad but the lag was too much when switching between apps for me and too many force closing on edits that I had to start over. Still good though

I have both phones and my experience on the 7a is MUCH WORSE than the A54. The OS and everything else, like moderate multitasking is smooth as hell. The Pixel 6a and 7a jitter, studder, and overheat like mad that the screen becomes barely visible, if I do anything remotely intensive or moderate.

Hey, thanks for the video you make interesting points for me. I'd take the pixel 7A but if the Galaxy a54 got down to $300 cuz I have 70 gigs of music on an SD card that I took out of my Galaxy s20 Plus that I sold. It's just sitting around and I really like that in a phone that's with me. But what to do all major major phone manufacturers have moved away from SD cards

I can't decide between Samsung A54 and Google Pixel 6a. I love how compact 6a is, I love smaller phones and seems like it has better camera( even though I kinda like vibrant colors on A54). But for almost same money for me I can get A54 with 256GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM compared to 6a who is 128/6 GB. I also hate how you can't add microSD to Pixel 6a because I love the storage. Then I expect my phone to last at least 3 years, if not 4 without dropping much of performance and I kinda feel Pixel can last better. I need to switch my Huawei P20 lite from 2018, you can't believe how laggy it is now. haha. I'm so torn, which one to buy?

Prices around the globe vary quite a bit, but there are definitely countries where this would not be considered mid-range...but nor would the Pixel 7a.

Well it's not just bigger, it's better, significantly better, speakers as well, battery life is a big deal for a lot of people, OneUI software, plus, you're saving a good chunk, so yes there are reasons why people would pick up an A54, and you do get better performance...but twice as long is stretching it. The 7a is a good device, when it behaves, but there are absolutely reasons why people would prefer the A54.

I have had the a54 since it came out with free galaxy buds 2 and 8 gigs of ram 449 and I love it watch a lot of you tube netflix disney and it is great for that great screen and sound

I bought the A54 a week ago, and Im so satisfied. I had an OnePlus Nord, and the a54-camera are way better. Very fine screen, nice and bright in sunshine. All over an exellent phone, and its korean, not a chinese spyphone like pixel, iphone or my previous phone.
