At 1:36 in the bottom right corner of the image is a black, rectangular sign that says Bar Roundhouse Kick. I spent many hours in this amazing bar. No cover, cheap drinks, great music, super fun. They were very kind to my English-speaking self, even though they didn't speak English. We managed! These images are so sharp! It looks a bit 'fake' at times, as you know it can't capture certain things in the dark, but it's cool to have as an option.

This video inspired me to actually get my KZbin channel set up for real and get started shooting videos ASAP. I have a Pixel 8 Pro and was planning to shoot walking videos like this while traveling the world (starting in my hometown of Las Vegas.) I was also upset that my phone didn't support 4K HDR @ 60 FPS (only does @ 30 FPS) and was afraid my videos would look like crap. That fear stopped me dead in my tracks. Now that I'm watching this video, I realize these walking videos look a lot better at 30 FPS than I expected them to, and it gives me a ton of hope that my videos can look awesome (even with the 30 FPS limit) and might actually build an audience. Thank you for this, and I look forward to shooting walking videos all around the world. I hope to do just that in Japan by the end of the year.

Unfortunately on the 8 pro it doesn't look like this with video boost. It has way too much artifacts and pixelated areas. The 9 pro seems to get an advantage with the newer sensors

This video is also at 30fps. If you want to film 4K60 at night get a DJI Osmo. It has an Gimbal and has no problems at night.

60fps are for action packed contents.. 30fps is enough for any other kind of videos.

Wow. Incredible detail and dynamic range. Footage looks super clean - no compression artefacts at all. Would like to see the stepping squeezed out with more image stablisation but I guess it's a trade off there with resolution. Overall it still looks amazing. Now they just need to find a way to do this on device...

I'm not sure how the other latest gen phones compare, but it seems like a lot of detail is lost in the dark areas in this one. So while it looks good, it's not as natural looking as it could be. Maybe that can be fixed in the settings. Thanks for the video.

It's good they managed to clean up a lot of things, but still, would've preferred a one-inch sensor so it wouldn't need so much post-processing which ends up losing some clarity and sharpness in the scene textures (at least when watching on a 1080p monitor). I can't imagine anyone willing to wait 2-6hours (estimate) for 18mins worth of footage to be uploaded and processed. The LED strobing still bothers me. I can understand if it happens in night scenes, but in daytime also? For a thousand dollar phone, the hardware compromise is unjustifiable.

Video quality is good. Stabilisation ist really really good. Especially at night. Sound quality is good. Wind reduction. No. At 1 bft you hear a storm 14:20 . No upscaling artefacts but sometimes blurry. Autofocus is way too fast. I wish Video boost could make 60fps from a 30fps video. Because its google and the best upscaling is RIFE and its based on KZbin. Video is at 30fps and the shutter is on PAL for Europe/China. Maybe 1/100, 1/200 1/250.... istead of 1/120 1/240... Many phones recognize it and change the shutter speed to a 60Hz country like Japan. Look at 15:01 Its good for a phone but not perfect.

It took alot of time, but that worst alot there is a big diff, just to say, it was film by the phone camera and then enchance by a feature

Do not get the S24. It's outdated and you don't get this level of color quality. You'll also risk green lines.

I think it depends on the device you are viewing this from as well, some devices over saturate colours. I think the look here is just a bit hyper real but I think that is due to the incredible detail and not as much the colour. For a phone, I thought it was great video. I do see what you are saying about the boosted red and green so for me I would like to see a nature video, that for me is a better judge of colours and light. Like would green plants or flowers look real or fake with the colour boost/ colour bleed effect. EDIT: I have now watched this on multiple devices and it does look very different. On my TV the colour is perfect, not bleeding.

@@socks_cat356 oh I was there last march it didn’t look like that… vj can vouch for me 😜 but yah no saturation way to high the contrast is way way to far apart to the point the blacks are too black and brightness is well too bright even for hdr you kinda don’t want that because then it bee over expose. Issue is and I saw it when vj zoom in that the pixels is smeared not giving true sharpness I feel this camera is trying to cater to KZbin because it be low bit rate.. due the over exposure and extreme shadows flatten colors..
