I remember many years ago when my parents allowed me to upgrade to a brand new phone for the first time to an HTC One M8, I looked for videos on the phone while it was being sent to me. I found android authority's video which Joshua was in. Since then I've become a tech nerd and follow a whole bunch of tech channels, but this guy was the first person I've ever seen. @@anthonyt425 the goal is to get customers from other brands, slowly bring them in, enjoy the device and platform, and then next few years offer less and less incentives due to the fact that you're so tied into their ecosystem it's hard to get out. Because right now, the incentives don't seem to make the company any money at all from these releases

While the 9 Pro looks tempting, I can't justify the extra $200 for a few more niceties over the regular 9. I do wish Google would've ditched the 128GB model on the Pro's. Just offer 256GB, 512GB and 1TB on the Pro's.

My pixel 8 pro lasts almost 2 days on a full charge. Mostly 1.5. I go to bed with 40-50% left. Google gave me 699 trade in to go to the smaller 9 pro (finally, a small pro). Heck yeah.

The XL is actually the same size as last year's pixel 8 pro. It's not a new device. The smaller pro model is the new device. But the way they set it up, it makes it seem like you're getting a new bigger phone which is justifies that $140 price increase at 256 GB I honestly think you'd be better off just getting the pixel 8 pro for $0.50 on the dollar. It's a 95% as good. And 50% the cost. Get 6 years of updates left

Probably the worst way to grade a camera. If you're going to buy a phone for its cameras, buy one that fits YOUR needs. A grade is but a number, a number meant to be used as a guideline, not as a definitive. No different than synthetic benchmarks.

While not a fan of the prices due to the limited storage... The trade in values are decent ($540 for 7Pro), and the additional $200-$350 store credit make this a buy now for me. I know you get decent sells as we near Black Friday, but i doubt the trade ins will remain this high and i doubt the credits will be there... Only question I have now - pro xl or pro fold

If you have a pixel trade in, the Google store web site gives better trade in value than BB PLUS a $200 Google store credit if you get a pro model. For example, my P8P will bring $900 in value with the store credit.

1. Google promises 7 years of operating system updates not 7 os upgrades. Samsung released the fold 6 with android 14 not 15. And that was 3 weeks ago however you are not complaining about that. On the other hand I agree with every other point. The pixel 9's are too expensive. The storage should start at higher configuration and their processor do not complete in terms of raw performance. So vote with your wallet.
