That's crazy so Samsung ain't the phone of the year cause the ultra wide ass shit performs like a mid range the main camera is a hit or miss there's a lot of shit every phone comes with pros and cons bro one of the main things I did say about the pixel is the price you pay for you should at least get more storage besides that phone runs smooth I can say a lot a shit about the iPhone to just saying ​@@_haru007_

Just switched from S24Ultra to Pixel 9 pro xl. I have to say it does everything really well. As far as hardware I haven't noticed anything being better or worse in comparison. The phone is much more comfortable to use as a daily. I love Sammy's but I'm really happy with this phone. Google has streamlined this phone to work with other android products. Makes it feel much like the apple ecosystem. If you are on the fence with this phone take the leap you won't be disappointed!!

It got me to switch from a 14 Plus. Sprung for the 256gb version and I am extremely happy. The phone just feels amazing in the hand. Whereas the 14 Plus always had some weird edges on the side of the phone. The photos are stunning for my point and shoot style. The ability to go manual mode does feel much more intuitive than on the iPhone. The modem is just as good as the 14 Plus which was my main concern. The screen gets mind glowingly bright in direct sunlight and even at 2000 nits sustained it it a game changer. Android Auto has been great and just as feature rich as Apple CarPlay. I'm a KZbin Premium user and being able to use my car's voice assist to put on music without interacting with the phone has been much better than Siri. Bluetooth support is up to date and supports esoteric codecs like Son'y LDAC which I use with my Sony XM2 headphones. I will say that Google Photos beats the pants off of Apple's Photo app. Many of my photos disappeared on my iCloud storage whereas I have always had Google Photos as a backup and I found photos I never remembered until now. Verizon was doing $1000 off with NO trade in which was nice because I wanted to keep my 14 Plus as a backup or mini tablet.

I definitely can't wait for the Pixel 10 XL. Looking forward to going back to Android and checking it out as the last Android I used was the Pixel 2 XL and Samsung Galaxy S8+!

I’m an iPhone guy and have been for years and this Google pixel 9 Pro XL is also my pick his phone in the year. My brother has it and I have a coworker at work that has it and I must say it’s pretty impressive and seems pretty useful with its features that it offers and most importantly it’s not boring like my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Literally thinking about trading in my iPhone for that phone, but I’m wondering if anyone can tell me does the Google pixel 9 pro xl offer split screen functionality? I’ve seen the Samsung phones do but wasn’t sure if Google did on their latest flagship.

It does have split screen. Just tap (maybe hold) on the app icon in the multitasking view and the option will appear

Switched from the iphone 16 pro max to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I have no regrets. Iphone's become more of the same thing year on year, with crazy pricing. Love your perspective in the video. Fully agree on the camera on the Pixel. Love it.

I got rid of my iPhone 15 Pro last week I was goin 2 upgrade 2 the iPhone 16 Pro Max but at the last minute I got the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I don't regret it the only thing that still bugs me with the Pixel phones is they still haven't fixed the face id so u can use it in the dark like the iPhone the Pixel 4 XL face id was fantastic and I wish they would bring back squeeze 4 assistant but now I'm knit picking

You can’t use pixel phone Face ID in the dark because of the tech. It’s not the same on as those on the iphone

There is a significant Bluetooth issue still existing even after the last update where the range of the Bluetooth is reduced compared to other flagships like Galaxy or iPhone

Regular 9 Pro also has exact same battery life as XL, battery size difference is only 360mAh for a .5” screen difference which is big gap. Also, looks like the video was shot pre December because based on the video the phone isn’t running on QPR1 December update which drastically brings new animations and snappier performance. You will enjoy the refined animation even more than what was already good buddy.

I got the 25gb P9 Pro XL for about $750. Don’t buy it at the original retail price. The battery is surprisingly good and on par or slightly battery than the Samsung S24 Ultra. The charging speed for me is good too. One tip. If you want great charging speed, please turn off charging optimisation and the speed will be roughly the same as the S24U. Why do i keep comparing it to the S24U? because its the phone i have on the side and its one of the best android phone. 😊

Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro, this IS if Apple put Android OS on a 16 Pro Max, added .1 inch, put a lower processor in it, added a better battery, and more versatile cameras. Yes, Apple will kill the Pixel in a video recording contest, but everything else, the Pixel 9 Pro XL holds its own 🙏🏾

I will say the pixel doesn't have dolby Atmos and I did notice the sound quality as far as streaming in my vehicle. I changed the equalizer settings in my music app and it took care of that. That's literally the only thing that I have noticed.
