@@febru1760Android 15 takes up 10GB on mine and temporary files takes up 7.2GB. I got the 128GB because it isn't my only phone and I backup all my pictures to Google photos.

Just got my Pixel 9 yesterday evening. So far it's been a great experience. Runs buttery smooth, has a much brighter screen than the 8a I had, has noticeably better battery life, the haptics are great and the new design makes it feel very premium. The speakers could be louder but otherwise after spending almost 12 hours with it, I'm very impressed. I got mine through Mint with a year of service for $540 with tax. At that price, it's completely worth it.

@@febru1760For example, Pixel 9 12/128GB takes up system: - Android 15 - 10GB - Temporary system files - 3.0GB (size may vary for each user)

@@febru1760 I have the 128 gb version. Android 15 takes up 10 GB and the temporary files take up 4.1 GB. So if you are a heavy storage user definitely go with the 256 GB version. For me 128 GB is all I need.

I mean I am using the pixel 7A for over an year now and it still runs buttery smooth. I am using tge pixel 2xl as a secondary device. It works perfectly fine aswell. Pixel devices last a long time.

Thats cool. Im enjoying my Pixel 8a still. I think its the best midrange phone of the year. I feel it setting the trend. But good to see more pixels in the wild too in my area now. iPhone and Galaxies are almost neck to neck, but here comes the pixels! lol

I have my Pixel 4a 5g from the day it was available for purchase. No problems, no slow downs. When the day comes and I decide on Pixel 9, my trusty old bro 4a 5G will still be by my side as a back up device with no hesitation.

It's a good upgrade, everything is much smoother and faster. Fingerprint scanner is good now. Face unlock is also very nice. Display is much better. No heating issues. WLAN and 5G connectivity is so much better. Call quality is significantly better on both ends. I still have to wait and see how the battery works, but it feels good. It definitely charges much faster. So far so good. And much faster.

Google has completely handicapped the software. This is Android, the most customizable OS historically. They have taken all of that away. The build quality is really good! The software experience has been neutered. The iPhone is more customizable out of the box.
