All within a margin of error based on certain metrics changing, like Pixel downgrading to 4G, iPhone running at 40% higher FPS in one task, etc. I doubt 35 minute difference between the best and worse is a deal-breaker especially as most of us are not as hard on our phones. Certainly, as I expected, the Exynos, in certain tasks is a great hand-warmer in winter, and despite the Knights continuing to say it is great, it has this very big problem as heat will kill phones in the end, so long-term one to avoid, especially if you push it like this. Not as much a problem for light users. Also. noteworthy was how Samsung misleads with the last 10%, there is definitely something going on as I see this in every test, whereas phones like OnePlus, OPPO and iPhone seem to last much longer; naughty Samsung. Those that say iPhone stays at 100% too long, that is because iPhone battery are usually above stated mAh, between 3-5% from articles I read. So, they have to eat into that before the drop form 100%. Samsung, amazingly, and never mentioned by Samsung-affiliated channels are the opposite with 3-5% less mAh than stated, and may explain why the last 10% sucks.

It's just normal that the first released software version of a new phone has battery issues. Best example for that is the S24U. Compare the results when it was released with todays results. Your 60hz argument is simply bs. The iPhone 16 display works always with 60hz while Samsungs 120Hz Panel display technology is adaptive, meaning it can dynamically adjust the refresh rate based on the on-screen content. For instance, when you're reading something on your phone, the display doesn't need to refresh as much. So, the system will automatically tone down the refresh rate, preventing the 120Hz display feature from consuming a lot of battery.

I think I know why In reality Exynos is about the same as snapdragon The major factor is that exynos works harder to get the same speed connection as the others, because it uses a different 5g technology which is not a millimetric but a sub 6GHz band one Thing that I don't think us carrier have So stop saying that exynos is bad It can actually perform better But the fact that it's used in scenario where it has to work harder compared to the others is just unfair

I'm not sure i understood Google's rationale for basing their first designed SoC on the almost universally loathed Exynos. Using a Pixel 7 for past two years I'm thoroughly unimpressed with the Tensor G3 it's laggy as hell at times. I read that the G5 Tensor will be Google's first totally customized SoC and it will be fabbed at TSMC not Samsung so maybe it won't be garbage in all performance areas except AI.

@techmo20203 ай бұрын
Hey, yes it is safe, android gives you more freedom, for example you can install third party apk outside of app store, but you can just turn this feature off and don't install random files, then there is no difference in security. Both of them has similar encryption mechanism etc. Also all major apps are also on android. I would say get one from Samsung or Amazon directly and if you don't like it then return it.
