To me the matte glass back is definitely worth the added cost if you like using your device without a case. If you are someone who always uses a case though it's pretty much getting the same hardware at this point.

I came from an iphone 15 pro to a regular pixel 9 and im pretty happpy with my choice. Yes the pro model has some nicer features but for the price (free for me) I am definitely pretty happy with the pixel 9 overall
